That honestly didn't work out so well while the City of London was in the EU as London was the only serious financial location, I think number 1 even above New York. Since the brexit there will also be some changes, in 2025 the euro clearing will be moved to the continent and hopefully fairly distributed to the euro states. Currently some big banks are moving towards Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam and Dublin, which I prefer instead of all banks moving to just one city.
