@Raven 93 is a Thelema greeting. Andrew WK has all kinds of little hints and stuff pointing towards Thelemic idealogies. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, look up Aleister Crowley and Thelema. The party mindset is basically ripped straight from it. In this case, this song literally could be a magick spell if you apply that logic to it. '39 is an early event in the Andrew WK rabbit-hole mythos. I think it's the year his dad was born off the top of my head.

This song could just as easily be played at a graduation ceremony or at the end of a victorious battle against an alien invasion. Its that good. Humanity needed this and Andrew delivered.
Andrew is the real deal. When he says he cares he does. Nobody sings or writes stuff like this unless they mean it because the world is so cynical. People mock stuff like this yet he doesn't care. He knows it means a lot to people like me. People who need this kind of message in their lives. Thank you, Andrew. I love you and appreciate you doing all you do.

This album got me through the hardest year of my life and came out almost like it was on cue, 1 month after my mom's stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Three years later and she's still fighting. Our motto has always been "You are never alone" and we even got "YANA" tattooed in each other's handwriting. This entire album will always have a very special place in my heart.
Thank you for evolving and pulling me through every stage of my life, AWK.

Its actually way cool that he's not all over the mainstream. It certainly gives his music and message more credibility and it is representative of how many people truly consume art rather than using it to appeal to and impress others.

I'll admit that it took a while for me to get his music but once it clicked I really started to love it. I think our culture is too detached and ironic to truly embrace something like this without destroying it. He is so closely linked to the music. It really is who he is. I don't think he should be bigger than he needs to reach out to his audience and spread the message they need to hear. If it was constantly played on the radio, I think it would lose its power. I think he's doing what he should be doing and, if you're partying hard, then so are you :)

Just relistended to it, he achieved greatness, he wanted a oddly specific thing and he got it, I didn't really know much about him before this other than the few most popular songs from him, but I'm so glad I listened to the podcast, I respect this man so so much now. That journey definitely gave me a great sensation of 'maximum pleasure'. So many questions with a satisfying ending. He's a legend.
