Jennifer Anniston, was AMAZING in Cake. She is highly underrated, and deserved nomination.

Someone said this movie was ART. I agree. Anniston’s best work. If you have chronic pain or feelings of great loss, this is the closest I have ever seen to what it’s like to live that Hell. The 24/7 kind.

I loved this movie. I suffer from chronic pain/grief. Brain anyerism. The left side of my body is difficult but I didn't die and I can walk and use my left hand for things. The nerve pain can ware on me. This movie inspires me. It can always be worse and even with the characters difficulties, she chooses life. I needed this movie. It is a great peice of art all around. Jennifer Anniston was phenomenal.
Love the song sang by Gary. I actually think everyone sings it better than Beyonce. If you like this version you should listen to L.P sing it, she sings it amazing.

for some reason idk why but this song just gives me so much strength. it's just a nice relaxing but eye opening song.
I was always a big fan of the oscars, been watching them since I was a kid and thought they were very important, but when Jen didn't get a Oscar nomination I was like what the fuck? That's when I realized the oscars are irrelevant, ANISTON at lease deserved a nomination, she was amazing .

I mean she could have very easily replaced felicity Jones in The Theory of Everything or at least Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl (I mean she was good in the movie but wasn't really oscar worthy in my opinion) this was by far Jennifer Aniston's best performance and probably was her only opportunity to even get nominated for the Oscars. This sucks!

I’ve wanted this song in my iTunes and on my computer for years. Today I just randomly searched the internet and viola! I got the song now (only the song) in my personal collection.

I agree. It was such a perfect movie and it SHOULD'VE GOTTEN attention with the Oscars, especially Jen Aniston in the lead role, which was in my opinion the best pefromance of the year. Unfortunately it cannot be in competition for the Oscars in 2016, because it was last year. You see, Jen was even nominated for SAG and bunch of awards last year. So that ship kind of sailed away, UNFORTUNATELY. I feel like people didn't really understand how amazingly beautiful this movie and Jen's performance really were, so Cake, if anything was snubbed.
Damn. Well, the movie may have went out last year but the year was almost ending, so... and not only Jennifer Aniston should deserve it, Anna Kendric and Sam Worthmington should also get the nomination for best actress on the supporting role and best actor on the maine role.
One of the greatest Oscar snubs for best actress, of the 2010s , was undoubtedly Aniston in Cake.

Absolutely correct the film is so achingly beautiful and as another person commented "what a difference a life can make, no matter how short". Jennifer Aniston gives an Oscar, Golden Globe, SAG and BAFTA worthy performance in this film that I know will stay with me forever. I'm sure too many people have suffered the same loss, this film and performance perfectly captures their emotional pain, to say more would give it away. Do yourself a favor and watch Cake, and listen to this incredibly poignant song over and over again. Now pardon me, think I'll watch Cake for the 4th time..💔
