It’s how Mariam’s eyes light up for me when speaking about Christ🥺. I’m so happy for you and your Christian Journey! I pray God continues to strengthen you every step of the way Amen.
Big up to Mariam I’ve been watching her ever since and as a Christian it’s really nice to see one of my favorite influencers opening their platform to enhance the Kingdom of God❤
Nice conversation, I think next time we should come with more scripture as the word of God is the foundation that we stand on , Jesus being the very word of God in flesh , everything we say must obey scripture , it strips us of all unnecessary 2 Corinthians 10:5
@@itsmariammusa I’m so proud of you walking with Christ , a reminder that we are being made holy Hebrews 10:14 a process I’m so happy that you’re in 🥳🥳🥳
Definitely. I was thinking of this as I was watching the video. As much as I loved it, some of it seemed like it was coming from individual wisdom rather than wisdom that actually comes from God’s Word, causing debate. But there is no debate with the Word of God.. So more Scripture would definitely make this 😍😍
Ummm sis that scripture says ”We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.“ 2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV That is Paul speaking of knowing God and being intentional in this knowledge! Now I do believe they did need more scripture references but the girl in the middle was definitely quoting the BIBLE A LOT it's our job to find it( or Miriam can just edit it into the video) When you really begin to study the word scriptures live rent free and they just fall off the tongue without even trying-you don't really know exactly where it's placed but you know the position it has in its delivery 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I have a similar story to Maggie! Mum is a muslim and dad is a christian. I went to mossque and practiced Islam. First one in my family to get saved (at uni) and now all 5 of my sisters are saved and baptised and my dad. And I have never looked back. And now I'm in ministry, and seeing the wonders of God all the time! Good to see what you are doing (at Maz) .But also how the Lord is working and prunung you! I really encourage you, If you can. To get older women as a mentor . It will help your walk as well as being in a stable ,good, bible teaching church. If you don't have one already! keep striving to know CHRIST deeply @Maz.. because it will not be easy. You rightly spoke about sin and also the industry your in. But again having a mentor and being planted in a good church will help you walk in wherw you are in the RIGHT way! Continue to allow Christ to be your anchor! You will hear from Him more and you will be fine. I pray that you will continue to flourish and Grow in Christ and glorify His name in the sphere your in! 😊 In Jesus name AMEN
The Bible encourages modesty in several places. One notable verse is 1 Timothy 2:9-10 (New International Version), which says, "I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God." This passage advises both men and women to dress modestly and focus on inner virtues rather than outward appearances. Love this video ❤ thanks ladies
In addition to 1 Timothy 2:9-10, here are a few other verses that encourage modesty:Proverbs 11:22 (New International Version): "Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion." This verse suggests that outward beauty without modesty or discretion is comparable to something valuable placed in an inappropriate setting.1 Peter 3:3-4 (New International Version): "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight." This passage emphasizes the importance of inner beauty and character over outward adornment.Matthew 6:28-29 (New International Version): "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." This verse encourages a focus on simplicity and trusting in God's provision rather than excessive concern about clothing and appearance. These are just a few examples, but the theme of modesty and inner beauty is found throughout the Bible, emphasizing humility, discretion, and prioritizing spiritual qualities over material ones.
It’s so nice to see that every lady there is at a different stage it’s almost like there’s a representation of every stage we go through as believers. And I’m so grateful to Maggie for speaking the truth about not everything having to be a personal conviction because we do know that somethings are a standard for God as He is holy and though we sin and fall short that standard does not change. We always preach grace but it is important to remind one another that we sometimes use waiting on personal convictions to continue certain wrongs all in the name of “i haven’t been convicted yet”. Nonetheless loved the discussion.

@thisisamina was asking where the Bible talks about women being modest. 1 Timothy 2:9-10, subject to definition for some as this is in reference to being in the Church, but as we are the Church, I interpret it as being modest at all times. Great discussion ladies, thanks Mariam ❤

MODESTY - the bible makes us understand what modesty is about and the HOLY SPIRIT in you will also teach you personally as you fellowship with him. Modesty is not there to restrict us, don’t let people extremes water down Gods definition and blessing of modesty. Modesty is very little about how you dress and more about your heart posture and reason behind what you wear because if your motive and reasoning in your heart is right before God guess what? It’s gonna reflect on how you dress too! Therefore now, both your out appearance and inside pleases the Father! 1 Timothy 2:9-10, 1 Peter 3:2-3 its really on your level of consecration and maturity in Christ
@@tapiwapereira Matthew 6:21! The more the Holy Spirit works on your heart, the more he will strip you externally. When I was convicted to dress modestly, I thought I start doing that but I realized that Jesus wasn’t done yet. My heart still yearned for outside approval but at the current moment, that my heart is completely after God, I completely wear my natural (braids occasionally). Wigs I use to wear constantly, now irritates me at even the thought. I still wear makeup but not often and light as possible. Every time I get dress I no longer consider how I look to other ppl but now I think would my attire please God.

I loved this whole conversation. Amazing points and the discussion between you all was so good. Very knowledgable! Also, the Holy Spirit was flowing through ya'll ❤ be blessed ladies!
Really enjoyed this conversation. Weldone Mariam❤ Just want to speak a bit on the fear of death that Maggie mentioned here 9:36. She mentioned that she's scared of death as we have no promise of our destination in the after life but that's actually not true according to the Bible. In salvation, we receive the gift of eternal life by simply believing in the finished work of Christ. John 3 vs 16 says; For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. We have eternal life (we know we're going to heaven after we leave this earth) ONLY because we believe that Christ died, was buried and rose on the 3rd day. Not because of our good works as there are many non Christians who live morally upright lives but have yet to believe Christ and as such cannot partake of this gift. It is in this same vein that Paul could encourage the people of Thessalonica by saying in 1st Thessalonians 4 from verse 13 that "And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died." (you can read the chapter to the end for better understanding) I said all this to say that as believers we actually know our destination after we die or at the second coming of Jesus. Though we do not know the very moment we will die, we know that as long as we died believing in Christ, we will be with him eternally. I know this doesn't automatically take away the fear of death and the pain of losing a loved one, but it does tackle the fear of our destination as believers when we leave this world. If you are reading this and are battling with this same fear and you are not a Christian, I implore you to believe in Jesus Christ today and you'll live forever with him. I know it's crazy to think that all you have to do is believe, but that is really all you have to do- just believe! Believe that Jesus loved you so much so that he came to die for your sins and if you believe in this that he has done, you will no longer die (even if you physically die) but you'll have everlasting life (John 3:16 paraphrased) Romans 10:9&10: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. It is the best decision you'll ever make, I promise. Wow, I definitely spoke a *bit* on this💀 Sorry for the long read but I hope this helps anyone❤
But if you believe in him and accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour but you don't live a righteous life, on judgement day the Lord will turn you away: ”“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’“ Matthew 7:21-23
So basically, you accepting Jesus Christ as your personal saviour is not the end of the road, you have to live a life according to the Father's will, otherwise yes, on judgement day you will be told to spend your eternal life in hell.
I love every single lady in this video; you guys did an amazing job representing Christ and I'm so glad to see you on this journey mariam! GOD BLESS YOU. Only thing I want to add to the conversation is the part about modesty and what the scripture says. 1 Corinthians 6 vs 17- 20 talks about the value of our bodies and price that was paid for our lives. Although I strongly believe modesty is subjective depending on the beholder; I also think with the industry that these ladies are in or the world that we live, things can get blury if care is not taken. We all know modesty is not just about the outside but also the inside. You cant have one without the other. Modesty is a valuable asset to have and I encourage anyone to walk that path even in this world of exposure
Girl, I not only want a part 2 i want a series on this or pod cast specifically for us Christian girlie's, loved this so much. So many gems in this video.❤❤❤
This was an interesting conversation and the question of being lukewarm is one each Christian should ponder on daily. It's a personal journey and as a whole, we need to take God seriously. I agree with a comment that said scripture should be used as a foundation (because it certainly should), and I also appreciate that this was a live conversation so the scriptures may not immediately come to mind (this is not always reflective of somebody's faith). Overall, I love these types of conversations and the different perspectives discussed. God bless us all and have mercy on us (we're all learning)!
I am so glad for this conversation and the opportunity to learn from the different perspectives from all you ladies who are at different stages of faith and relationship with God. It has been so eye opening and relatable so thank you Mariam and keep up the Lord's work! God bless you

Love this! ❤❤❤ This was God sent I’ve been dealing so much with a sin but you guys talking about consecration and taking the steps to grow deeper with God just make sense. God said I will do a new thing, “it’s not us to work Christianity out but the Holy Spirit to do the work within us. “ It’s so important to never let go of God but trust him no matter what because HE IS FAITHFUL! ❤ God bless you guys and I’m a baby Christian too. You are not alone ooh 😭💖🫶🏾🫶🏾

Just reached minute 57:00 of the vid and wanted to comment that in 1 Timothy 2:9 the bible is quite clear that there is a certain look we can apply to ourselves as women of God♥️Though there is room for interpretation, I do agree that spiritual maturity convicts us to dress differently than average. Hope that makes sense💕💖

Thank you for this Mariam. Remember that there is no wrong or right way of living yout life and following your path. You start by asking questions, seeking answers and everything unfolds in it's own time and that is how you grow

Awww 🥹 glad it resonates with you xx ❤
I cried a little 😭 I'm so happy for you Mariam. This is something I mentioned to God a couple of years back when I was watching one of your video
Aww thank you so much, bless you xx❤
True! Thank you for sharing this with me xx ❤
I agree but your heart reflects what you wear please don’t deceive her to dress inappropriately!
@@zainabibraheemplease can you explain I did not understand your comment
@@zainabibraheem Amen!

Really enjoyed this conversation. Weldone Mariam❤
Just want to speak a bit on the fear of death that Maggie mentioned here 9:36.
14For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died." (you can read the chapter to the end for better understanding)
I said all this to say that as believers we actually know our destination after we die or at the second coming of Jesus.
Believe that Jesus loved you so much so that he came to die for your sins and if you believe in this that he has done, you will no longer die (even if you physically die) but you'll have everlasting life (John 3:16 paraphrased)
Romans 10:9&10: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
It is the best decision you'll ever make, I promise.
Wow, I definitely spoke a *bit* on this💀
Sorry for the long read but I hope this helps anyone❤
Wow, really insightful, thank you so much xx❤
But if you believe in him and accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour but you don't live a righteous life, on judgement day the Lord will turn you away: ”“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’“
Matthew 7:21-23
God bless you too, thank you so much for your input xx ❤

Awww 🥹 thank you so much. Amen! xx ❤
Such a beautiful conversation with different points of view and humility 🙏🏿 Great job sisters in Christ ❤️
Thank you so much, I appreciate xx ❤
This was an interesting conversation and the question of being lukewarm is one each Christian should ponder on daily. It's a personal journey and as a whole, we need to take God seriously. I agree with a comment that said scripture should be used as a foundation (because it certainly should), and I also appreciate that this was a live conversation so the scriptures may not immediately come to mind (this is not always reflective of somebody's faith). Overall, I love these types of conversations and the different perspectives discussed. God bless us all and have mercy on us (we're all learning)!
Amen! Thank you so much xx ❤

Yaaayyyy, glad you do, thank you so much, more coming up! xx
Lots of sense xx
