They noticed the 7.62 round would get through and through but the American M16 was using 5.56 and the round tumbled on impact causing more internal damage. So they adapted the AK-47 design to use 5.56, making the AK74u. Btw, ghost had one too, it was just made in Ukraine, so it looked like a bullpup. I think it's like the Korbra or something?
