Mike is a great guy! He has been doing this for years. He is one of not the largest seller in eastern Canada. If you're looking to complete your set he got your cards. Thanks for the video.
I’ve always thought these 71/72’s were not only the best hockey set but maybe one of the most attractive card sets. Looks like a nice run of Seals cards. As always I appreciate the history lesson too.
I went for the Seal cards first simply because they haven't existed in almost 50 years and I do love the colour scheme. The owner was the same guy who owned the Oakland "A''s. This set is cool but no action cards. I have a soft spot for the defunct teams of the 70's.
dyk Charlie O owned the Memphis Tams of the ABA as well? He made them wear the same colors as the A’s but at least he couldn’t make them wear white skates like the Seals.
I agree, Montreal gave up too much for too little. Kovalenko was never given a chance in Montreal and was traded to Edmonto for Scott thornton (bad trade), Jocelyn Thibault had some moments but only lasted 3 seasons and Ruchinsky had 4 decent seasons in Montreal before being traded away for nothing. Habs gave up Mike Keane too which baffled me at the time. Habs should have gotten a High Draft pick too.

I'm back in Halifax this week and plan to stop there again. I'm hoping that he has cards from the WHA sets.

Patrick Roy trade was the worst I could think of. Montreal should have gotten a 1st round pick in "96 and a 2nd rnd in '97.
