The order doesn’t specifically say pickles so if somebody was able to keep up with the order, they would’ve caught Bubble Bass in the lie well before the ending.
This is a really good episode about failure and how it can shatter a person’s confidence and make them feel like they can’t do anything right. And the way you get back confidence is telling yourself that you CAN do it and have faith in your skills. Also helps to have people who believe in you
@@MissBoxxx Also, I heard in a late season episode that BB is quite stingy when it comes to food. He would come in, eat, pretend to be dissatisfied, and take advantage of money back guarantees just to avoid paying for food.
Classic episode. It is really the first time we see spongebob have a mental breakdown and it is soo interesting to see him go through this when usually he is brimming with confidence.great reaction.
This really shows how much SpongeBob cares about the experience the customer gets when he freaks out this much when he thinks he gets an order wrong and there for gave the customer a seemingly bad experience
It’s true, in the early seasons of SpongeBob, Mr krabs is still his greedy self but cares about SpongeBob like a son, while SpongeBob actually has limits and can be angry at times unlike the modern episodes where he’s always happy or cries
@@pabcu2507 That's because Spongebob is his meal ticket. If anyone else is making Krabby Patties other than him, Krabs can't attract customers and make money.
Ive been waiting for this one for about 6 months. It has more school in it then you might think. Whats happened to Spongebob is he lost his confidence however he knew how to make one the whole time.
The craziest thing about this episode is Bubble Bass' order. People have not only translated it, but even attempted to make it and it is a really big burger
Double Triple Bossy Deluxe: Double Triple = 6 patties, Bossy = all-beef, Deluxe = everything on it. On a raft: Toast in place of burger buns. 4x4: Previous 6 patties x 4 = 24 total patties, with another 24 slices of cheese. Animal style: Patties cooked in mustard, 24 layers of everything. Extra shingles: Extra toast, 2 per layer, 14 total. With a shimmy: Jelly spread on toast. And a squeeze: Orange juice to drink. Light axle grease: Light butter on the toast. Make it cry: Extra onions. Burn it: Patties are well-done. Let it swim: Extra special sauce. also early on (in season 1 at least), Mr Krabs was like a father figure to SpongeBob and was less greedy.
Its always helpful to have a usual or to step aside to let the others go so you don't hold people up. Fun fact: Bubble bass' order is actually translatable with real restaurant lingo

This is the beauty and perfection that is season 1. That music is beautiful. Glad you still did this despite people revealing the twist. Really funny episode.
You deciding to step aside and think about what to order at a restaurant and letting the person behind you, order is so smart. I never thought about doing that, and next time, I will do that.
7:00 the US used to have pay toilets, but discrimination lawsuits changed the laws. Now you cant force people to pay just to use the bathroom, BUT you can say the restroom is for customers only. Making people pay was unfair to people with medical conditions or disabilities, as well as Women since Men at a bar could go outside... which was another reason the laws were passed, it was contributing to lawbreaking.
Funny when SpongeBob dejectedly walk through his door and made a hole. You would think with that sound effect he was running at full speed towards the door. I do like it when Squidward smiled with confidence when SpongeBob said "And three cheers for the frycook that replaced me. Squidward!" But then everyone booed. Which I'm wondering how did they get any business before? We saw in the first episode, that's when SpongeBob got hired to work there. Was SpongeBob even a regular customer prior to working there?
i love this episode as someone who has ADHD and constantly making mistakes i love how this episode teaches you even if you make mistakes always have confidence in yourself and learn from what you did wrong even if people shame you, at least that's my thoughts on what it was about.
I always wondered what the beef between Sponge and Bass was. My personal theory Bubble Bass is just like a rival nerd to spongebob probably in the mermaid man fanboy clubs.
ahh another classic episode of Spongebob. very nice. Interesting twist that he then immediately forgets how to do anything. but of course very far from reality xD
If you watch the episode “Bubble Bass's Tab (SEASON №: 12 EPISODE №: 265a)” you’ll come to realize that Bubble Bass is almost as stingy with money like Mr. Krabs at least when it comes to food.
Bubble Bass wastes all his money on toys and comics but tries to steal food whenever he can, especially since he makes huge orders of specialty food all the time. And he won’t even get a job and just sponges off his mother. 😂
18:15, 18:19, 18:21, 18:24 Spongebob: Look! He's been hiding the pickles under his tongue the whole time! Mr. Krabs: And there's the pickles from last time too! Lady fish: And there's my car keys! Bubble Bass: And that's my ride! Me: And this was too funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like the showdown music at the end when SpongeBob got his groove back and it was round two on making this Krabby patty. A Krabby patty with pickles that is. I'm guessing SpongeBob and Bubblebass were old high school rivals. Maybe SpongeBob aced cooking class or cooking club, was top of his class and Bubblebass got kicked out of that class. That sounds like a fun little theory.
Bubble Bass shows up a few times in Season 1 and then doesn't appear again until Season 8. If you want to see more Bubble Bass, a few episodes I recommend are "Bulletin Board", "Squid Noir", "Moving Bubble Bass", "Swamp Mates", "Bubble Bass's Tab", "Sea-Man Sponge Haters Club", "BassWard", and "Momageddon"
2:17 It also helps if the person ordering food has a good idea what the restaurant serves from previous experience or research so that when they go into the restaurant, they can order immediately without wasting anyone’s time. Though, I too, am not exemplary at this! 😅
When I was a kid, me and my friends tried making a comic where Bubble Bass was the main villain of a SpongeBob story. Sadly I think one of us was working on it when we weren’t supposed to be and the teacher took the comic away and we lost our progress. 😂😂😂
funniest when mr krabs cheapness causes him to lose money, like this episode were he lost his best fry cook simply because he was angry at him for causing him to lose 2 bucks , or during a different episode were he fired him to save a nickel🤣 🤣
Speaking of such condiments, with Papa's Pizzeria getting a Steam release, I shall mention that one short customer in that series wearing a ball cap takes interest in tomatoes. And in the original 2010 Burgeria game, a blonde gal who was the first to order a pickle later was shown with a dog named Pickle in following games. In the 2004 movie, Squidward asked "$101 for a Krabby Patty?" "With cheese, Mr Squidward - with cheese." As later editions of Papas games have preset recipes as a "daily special" I sort of hope if they do so for Burgeria, they'll reference this episode with a Crying Johnny or something. Not best customer service... "the ceiling is right, Squidward. You're not a very good employee." I think Bubble Bass only other appearance pre S4 was in S1's FUN. When someone reviewed each episode of S1 in a 7 hour compilation, they showed a picture of someone's attempt at his order. Absurdly tall, it looked. I think there's a S9 one where Krabs fired SpongeBob to save a nickel, and upon taking him back, he went with a payment restroom. We see Patrick between the mattresses in Rock-a-bye Bivalve. Another instance of Squidward cooking is in Hooky. I'm not sure I'd count this for angry SpongeBob with how quick it is, and seeing as you already saw Can You Spare a Dime, another instance is again, Rock-a-bye Bivalve. This iconic stack ending with ketchup, mustard and pickles is different to the Crying Johnny that put them first. Food Theory did an experiment on stacking the ingredients to see which is best, and the Krabby one got the highest taste.

Ha, Squidward was savage when he said to Bubblesass, "Let me guess, a small salad?" Funny, but um, yeah. In real life you definitely shouldn't say or think that about a customer. Very mean and judgemental. But it was a funny line here and also the way how Squidward said in a very deadpan way, "We serve food here."
If I was ordering a Krabby Patty I'd do no onions or mustard. Tomatoes are ok, but ketchup is better I think and I wouldn't want both. I love pickles, though I might take them off and eat them separately.
Who do you think shouted," boo you Stink!" To Squidward when the episode ended? (A) Mr. Krabs (B) A Fish (C) Squidward's Mom (D) Another main or background character If (D) comment who.
Squidward's two biggest roasts to Bubble Bass: "Let me guess tiny, a small salad?" "We serve food here sir."
Squidward saying "We serve food here, sir." after Bubble Bass' long and complicated order will never not be hilarious.
