I don't understand why people should have to pay to dispose of debris caused by a hurricane. If you rehab your house at the best of times, it makes complete sense to be responsible for your own trash, but it's not going to work after a natural disaster. Most of those people won't be able to afford it.

Always got a make a buck. How crazy. They need some state for debris removal.

Because FEMA hasn't moved in yet. Once they do, they will pay contractors to pick up debris that is set out at the roadside and haul it to a central location. At least they do here in Florida. But you have to get it to the roadside which is impossible for some.

This is why I love Tennessee because of men like your Mayor. High quality individuals. Many prayers for safety and strength. Much love from Maine.

With all the disaster in the area , people are being charged to drop of debris from the storm ! Any person of place profiting off of a natural disaster should be heavily fined

Amen. Look at Cocke County. It looks likes it's look for 70 years. No money ever put into to making it NICE. Right next to Gatlinburg. What a joke. Sad. Somebody needs to have a ass chewing for slumville.
