Sid also forgot to mention that the baseball season is during the summer and Toronto temperature wise is probably much more comfortable than LA in June and July. He will go home to Japan when Canada's winter sets in during the off season.

I watched the actual segment of that via the MLB Network page I believe. One of the panelists offering his take flat out refused to even mention the Blue Jays as one of the teams in the mix to sign Ohtani, instead bringing up Seattle as one of the teams interested.
