Burn ban in effect across New York State, what it means and safety tips

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - It's that time of the year again where the weather is nice enough to enjoy a campfire outdoors. However, this time of year is especially dangerous for wildfires. This is why a burn ban is in place from March 16th through May14th.
