I was riding my super anxious, hot horse and we were jumping a couple low cross rails, and I was circling before my jump and we were getting her to calmly trot over them, so she was cantering the circling and I was half halting and bringing her back to trot and instead she just collected really nicely and I felt like she was a little dressage pony
This may all be good, but you would have an awful lot more collection in canter if you would incurve your horse while cantering. Those small circles of 10 m looked like ridden on a motorbike.
