Synopsis:
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, gives an electrifying performance as Samar Anand, a hard working young immigrant in the city of London, where he glimpses upon the love of his life, a gorgeous angelic looking girl, (Katrina Kaif). They meet and their bond blossoms into love with time spent together. Samar however meets with a serious accident, and Meera vows to God she will leave Samar forever if He allowed him to live again, their love affair ends as quickly as it began.
Samar angered with God and fueled with his love for Meera, declares War against Him. Samar Anand vows to walk into the jaws of death everyday as a challenge to God to keep him alive. I feel bad because the songs of this movie got released at the wrong time. The year it got released, people were drooling over the songs of Chikni Chameli and others. But such a masterpiece did not receive such praise, remaining an underrated gem. AR Rahman was not even nominated for best music in Filmfare.

This song takes into account the popular stories of Heer-Ranjha, where Ranjha left his beloved to get married to another suitor in the beginning, and Mirza-Sahebaan, where Mirza takes his beloved on a horse. And so, in the song, the girl wants to be called Sahebaan instead of Heer, even though Mirza and Sahebaan die at the end of story.

It's also significant because heer ends up marrying the one her parents chose forcefully (though she loved ranjha) where as saheba escaped her wedding with Mirza on his horse so kind of signifying she doesn't wanna marry someone else but run away with the one she wants.
