- The Innogear MU-PSA28 is somewhat of a Rode PSA1 boom arm clone... but it is nearly a third of the price. This boom arm Is built well, has great cable management, and it even has an extension rod to make taller. It has a lot of good things going for it, but it isn't perfect.
I mean, it's a boom arm... I can't do a bunch of tests and sound samples like I can with mics and interfaces, but you can still check it out and see if it could work for you!

Thanks for the video! I've been using a Neewer with my King Bee for 3-ish years now and its held up fine. I think the trick to make it last is to make sure to loosen the brakes when you adjust it.
Would like to see this compared to other boom arms in the same price category, from Samson, ffine, etc.
I have owned a PSA1 for a few years now and the thing just works and looks like new. THAT is a big plus over inexpensive gear, no matter what kind of gear we're talking about.
I must say I probably would have gone for something like this if it existed back in 2016 or whenever I bought it, but I don't know if I'd still own it after all these years of use.
When the Heil PL 2T has a child with the Elgato High Rise mic-arm, you'd get the Innogear arm 😁. But it's nice to have more options for recommendation.
Hi, thank you very much for the review. Since you mention it, will you also review Vivo arm in more details? There are lots of people like me who's interested in low profile boom arms but don't know if they should go with Elgato, Vivo, IX-Tech or any other brand I don't know/remember right now?
A Big'N LMAO. Without a shock mount you get free reverb! its a feature not a bug! (the 7b has internal shockmount and is on a yoke... so....) That vivo looks like my monitor arm, cool stuffs.

If you don’t need it to horizontally move, the on stage quick release is great!

Huh? It is objectively nicer. Supports more, better mount, doesn’t try to hit you in the face if you don’t have a mic on it…. But it is super branded, like I said.
