Mecute Pretty, May Allah guide you to Islam. Insha Allah go and speak to the Iman at a Sunni masjid (mosque) who will aid you assist you in your journey to take your Shahaadah. Also ask him to sign post you to practising sisters who have sound knowledge of the deen ( religion of Islam) so that they can support you in your life journey as a Muslim. Also accessing lectures like this to further assist you Insha Allah ( as Allah wills). May Allah grant you success Ameen.

i am an orthodox christian and i admire this man. one of the best advice ever.
it's not him who is to be admirable here, it's what he is advising or preaching, and that's the teaching of Islam. he does not say what he thinks, he is saying what he have learned from the Islam. So admire Islam, don't accept it if you don't understand it now. but do respect it. as we respect all other religion.
We are soooo lucky to have this sheikh in our time.

I pray salah five times along tahajjud Alham du lillah . But when I speak to my friends nobody prays for 5 times and top it they make me feel that I am alien. Because in todays world praying for 5times is difficult and people will tell you are doing this to show off but it is my routine Shukar Alham du lillah ...

Thank you for your teachings. I am an American, however I have always lived as a chaste woman. I have experienced terrible times through 27 years of stalking by a Black Italian Mafioso Pimp who although he never touched or had a relationship with me, after one encounter he decided to buy and sell something that was never intended to be bought or sold by Allah. He has since deceased, and it was only then that I regained my freedoms and life. I hope to give all women hope and faith in Allah.

While it's important for the primary caregiver-- statistically the wife-- to have good character, it's essential for the husband to have EQUALLY good character. Muhammad (pbuh) said of men who would marry your daughter to give preference to those who are God-fearing because he will be inclined to treat her right no matter how the marriage goes.
And realistically speaking, so many people look for those who are more religious than they, but don't you think those same people are in turn looking for more religious people?
If you want a certain level of quality, you should work on developing those qualities within yourself.

The strongest people are the people of prayer. Pray for yourself and pray for others also. But pray to the One Creator who is alone in his Divinity and has power over all affairs.

The Quran relieved 1400 years ago what 'critical thinkers' are discovering just today . you are welcome to read 4 urself:"'If all the humans and all the jinns bonded together in order to produce a Quran like this, they could never produce anything like it, no matter how much assistance they lent one another.'" (Qur'an 17:88)
And if you are in doubt as to which We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a sura like it, and call on your helper, besides Allah, if you are truthful. (Qur'an 2:23)
so what about a new convert Muslim like me? I pray that Allah guides me in Islam and submit my will to Allah. I also pray to Allah to give a Muslim husband to help me be a good Muslim wife, mother, and woman.

Most cases I saw that even pious man will choose pretty girls over pious women. So what about the girls who aren’t pretty at all? I feel this discrimination that people care more about the look. No matter how kind you are, how pious you are, if you don’t have the look, it’s like, nothing.
It's not like that, I understand as humans, people tend to search for a face that pleases their eyes but not caring too much about pleasing Thier souls....and yes, sometimes i feel the same that without beauty we can't have a 2nd look, but stay firm on the path of ALLAH, for indeed ,if you happen to enter Jannah / heaven, there will surely be ultimate pleasure that you never want to trade for Worldly desires.....and for Noble men are nobel women and vice versa.
Some People who are behind girls for looks and shape, they're are people who destroy the life of girls after their desires are fulfilled and later they are harsh on them ,so even beautiful girls should look for a great charactered man.
I will leave this to my parents
I am not married yet. A man who came to see me as a woman said he did not like me the reason is I can't speak English fluently. I worried It is impossible to get out of that anxiety

Facts.

On behalf of a freind.
She is in love with her cousin and her cousin loves her too (they are first cousin from mothers sidof the family). She spoke about it to her parents but her parents donot agree to it. They reason for their deniel is that it will bring problems to between two sisters. They say the boy is alright in everyway but they will not ruin two sisters relationship for this marriage. They give the reason that for two people 30 more relations will be ruined. The boys family says they do not have any problem to the marriage if the girls family agree.
What should she do? How should she convince? She and the boy are very upset about this.

Religion and Good character matters and others are the secondary things depends on person to person.
May i get answer....for eg. If a marriage proposal has come n u saw picture of the guy..it made u angry and didn't like him. Does the verse of Quran (there's thing u like but its bad for u and there's thing u hate but its good for you) impacts here..may Allah forgive me for not quoting it properly
@@kaifianaaz9986 according to my understanding NO that does not apply here. I believe that verse is talking about trusting Allah in general and always being content with the Qadar of Allah. But at the same time listen to your heart. It you are not content ask yourself if you wanna keep searching. Don't get into something this important having negative feelings. Allah knows best.

Its almost impossible to look into how the potential person's friends are like nd everything. Because here in pakistan arranged marriages happen thru marriage bureaus and there is not much u get to know aboht unknown people. I am going thru this phase.
