Excellent use of the RUclips platform! Excellent 60 frames per second for a silky feel, excellent encoding and stitching of the various clips, the scripts are always clear, scientifically valid, make excellent observational points, highlight that which is worth highlighting, the list goes on. I also like your attention to detail - not just uploading but also going to the effort of chapter markers, descriptions on the chapters, timecode markers, adding a navigation area to your video description, acknowledging all your sources, just very thorough and professional. You deserve all the kudos, sir/madam.
There's an error I noticed. At 9:05, Giant Isopod is said to reach a meter/2,5 ft but a meter is around 3,2 ft. And the largest confirmed Giant Isopod specimen was approximately 50 centimeters. Where did you get the data for a meter?
Thanks for pointing this out! No idea how I messed up that conversion so badly, but you’re absolutely right. I got the 2.5ft value from a specimen that was hauled up near the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, but have no clue how I then did such a terrible job of rounding the metric conversion! My apologies for this.
Update: I’ve added an on-screen card to correct the error. Thanks again for being so perceptive and pointing this out! There’s always something that slips through the cracks.
I was going down a path of hatred. Of the world of people. There’s so much to be angry about and my fellow humans deserve so much blame with me included. So this out of nowhere is a glimmer of hope. Haven’t even watched it but I know it’s going to put me on a better path today.

You have a real presence and gravitas that lends itself so perfectly to your videos. Transcendent, my friend. Keep going!
I'm not going to lie, I had this pop on my home page for awhile, but didn't watch it because it wasn't in the millions of views. But, I decided to click it, I am now subscribed, and thinking this is vastly under viewed. I have barely started watching and the amount of work that has been put into this is just.... bravo. Barely made it past the intro and I'm already fan. Onto the video, let's do this

Thank you, this bothered me so much. 2.5 feet is ~25cm away from a meter.
Don't take this as an insult, but I love to listen to your videos when I can't sleep. Your voice is very soothing
I was going down a path of hatred. Of the world of people. There’s so much to be angry about and my fellow humans deserve so much blame with me included. So this out of nowhere is a glimmer of hope. Haven’t even watched it but I know it’s going to put me on a better path today.
I’m so happy to hear this, Dave! Humans sure do have a lot to answer for, but never forget how wonderful the world around is can be!
Joji on the soundtrack makes me beyond happy. Y’all are GOATED in this documentary game. Thank you for everything.
I'm high as fuck. Let's teach us things. The natural world is fly AF
I loved this mini documentary! Thank youuuuu ❤. I don't know why I am so drawn to deep sea worlds. It is somewhat fascinating to think actual living Beings are thriving so deep in the dark! 👍
How to survive the deep sea? : stay out of the sea !
Love the Joji cover! And of course the video.
Great stuff.
At 14:30 there’s a really nice remix of Will age by Joji. Does anyone know the remix version
Yes! It’s a cover by Jorge Mendez, can be found here on RUclips :)
Let him know I sent you haha!
@@NaturalWorldFacts thanks will do. Amazing video too!!!
Thank you :D
I'm amazed by the quality of these videos, even thought I'm more of a mechanical engineering guy I find that these videos just seem to make me forget about what I'm working on at the moment and devote my entire attetntion to them. It's great to see that there's still David-Attenborough-quality stuff being made.
Truly remarkable. Life thriving in places where many would only imagine darkness and barren lands. There is always hope.
The deep sea is so beautiful... Watching these videos, I sometimes want to cry
I was already thoroughly enjoying the video, but i was overjoyed when i recognized Joji playing in the background 💕💕
No shade to my professors (ok well some actually) but I have learnt and been more engaged in material with these short videos than I have in my 3 year Marine Biology degree, they are so well put across, thank you for these 💙
That Will He cover was so good I had to repeat that chapter because I wasn't paying attention to what you were saying
Man, I have to say, I watched your videos, one on the slow worm, and the other one making an enclosed ecosystem-both were excellent. I couldn’t help but notice your age, and I’m most impressed. You have a real presence and gravitas that lends itself so perfectly to your videos. Transcendent, my friend. Keep going!
This deep sea documentarys rlly helps with my insomnia, are so comforting and relaxing
Onto the video, let's do this
How is this video for free? Man you are super talented and I’m glad that I found your channel! Keep up the AMAZING work
This video is so calming
The music and the commentary with the imagery; I love everything about this.
Why am I crying watching this😢 I’m not sad, but it’s just beautiful, too beautiful to appreciate
This is one of the few nature channels with really tasteful mix of commentary and music. Some top level contact, here.
This’ the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a while 😭
This is what i asked last tuesday and you made it to post a video this tuesday as you replied in my comment. Thanks and appreciated.
Thank you, I love your videos, the creatures of the abyss fascinates me and your voice is so soothing ^^
I came from TikTok after watching all your vids there. You’re documentation skills are phenomenal
Thank you so much!! I’m thrilled you enjoy my longer content as well as the shorts :)
You have such a wonderful voice! As soothing and calming as Attenborough. I don't think you'll ever want for work!
Concoction of curious creatures is a great phrase
