God has created hundreds if not thousands of plants and herbs for every thing. Such a wonderful God we have!
This is how I solve my problems
Yes! I use essential oils for almost every need. Can't imagine life without them.
There is a way to stock up on prescription medications too. The pharmacy will fill them just a couple days ahead of time, so as soon as a medication is able to be filled get it filled and store the extra 2 or 3 pills away so that you can do the same for the next time. This will give a small stockpile in case of an emergency or incase of a shortage too.
Now is the time to take control of our health and get off what medication we can by eating better, getting more exercise, losing weight, etc.
We dont make prescription drugs in this country any longer. We rely on meds made in various foreign countries. Bad idea.

There has been a problem for a while that the migrants coming here are sent to local hospital emergency rooms when they arrive sick in certain towns, and in addition to not being charged for the treatment they are also being given no cost prescriptions. So some of these medications are being sent to these ER’s. Several area hospitals are saying they can’t keep doing this and keep their doors open.
I think that is part of the plan to bring socialized medicine here.
I think it is sad that our "leaders" are making sure that illegals have free medical, housing, money for food (because what they were being given wasn't good enough) when there are Americans living on the street who don't know when they will eat again and are sick and can't afford to be treated. Some hospitals are requiring payment before procedures are being done.
It is ridiculous what problems are being created in the US.
@AlaskaGranny Have you read the Cloward-Priven Strategy? It's been in effect since the 60s, and is a plan to destroy capitalism and replace it with socialism/fascism. So far, it's going as planned unless we get new leaders to stop it. I can think of a few more "crises" that could be thrown in before the election.

I had a total knee replacement several weeks ago, and my post-op prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy about 10 days prior to my surgery because of supply shortages. None of the meds I was prescribed were things I would have thought were high demand, other than maybe the pain meds.
Great strategy to make sure the meds were available before you needed them.

I'm not sure, I'm sure you could contact them. I was able to fill a prescription for a year's supply, but I paid cash.
Unfortunately, they do not accept any type of insurance plan.

a ew times I hagve been able to get a portion of a preescription fill then in the next month I got the balance of them. I have been able to accumulate a backup supply. I'm glad I don't take some of these meds

Children's over the counter simple meds are so expensive & i feel comfortable keeping a bit past expiration date (i take the childrens allergies meds) Like you said better to have & not need than need & not have.

When more than 300 medications are short here since the beginning of the year and they are heterogenous classes of drugs then none of the reasons you mentioned is true. eg cancer patient medications are not short because it was over prescribed to these patients over the phone, cause they can not be prescribed without the doctor seeing the patient and administering it themselves. I think the 330 different drugs are exported silently to somewhere and thus it caused the shortage.
There are definite concerns if you need prescription medications.
My husband is a diabetic. We can't get his Trulicity. Over a two year period he has been switched twice and this last time we couldn't get it at all. The pharmacy said all brands of the GL1's are out of stock everywhere. Luckily, he had a full bottle of Glipicid and started it. Fat people need to put down the Big Mac and exercise! The over prescribing by doctors needs to stop! Diabetics take these medications for a reason. We finally did get Ozempic and Mongero. Now he has to go through all the stomach issues and tireness that are a side effect of these medications.
So sorry for your husband. Yes, put down the Big Mac and the meds others require to live!

I'll show u how to get a free months prescription drugs for free. Example, take your meds at 12 noo then next day take all of them at 2 pm then 3rd day take all meds 2 hours later at 4pm and so on. After doing this for a month you have 3 extra pills dont ser them aside so theyll still be fresh but put them on top of your new month prescription. If you do this for a your you have 36 extra meds at end of year or 1 months extra prescription plus 6 meds. All free all legal no withdrawal youll be fine. You r only taking your meds 2 hours later on same day
