Stryper is back! Would love to see the rest of this concert. The performance and sound quality here is absolutely incredible! The vocal and guitar harmonies are absolutely riveting! Can't wait to hear the the band's new release entitled "The Covering" due out this February. Would be something to see this band re-visit the big productions they enjoyed in the 1980's.
I've heard all there songs on the preceeding 2 albums and they rock now just as well as they did 25 years ago, the grew as a band even when they went there separate ways and now with there album the "Second Coming" I think it's gonna be just as awesome as there previous efforts WTG Stryper

Wow, they actually sound better than they did 25 years ago. If it weren't for the religious angle, they could have been huge. And, although I'm not a religious person, I really respect the fact that they stood by their principals as opposed to selling themselves out for commercial success.
@clayden82 I lived in Jakarta for about a year, interesting fact is there's about 30 million christians in Indonesia and the Muslim majority is a lot less conservative than Arabic countries. But I hear what you're saying.

I remember a debate drummer Robert Sweet had with King Diamond in an issue of Hit Parader or some such, and I can assure you, RS held nothing back. He joked with him, yeah, but RS wasn't afraid to stand up. You'll catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar, soldier.
Michaels kidneys was messed up during the second half of 2012 so he was not able to scream, it was to painful for him. According to Oz, Mike is fine now.

I believe he's just playing what's available there with a great quality possibly borrowed from studio or from a professional session drummer, but that's just my assumption.
Robert's playing a Yamaha kit here. I saw a fairly recent video interview with him in which he discussed his latest drum endorsement with Ddrum. Did he already drop him?

The falsettos at 4:30 and 10:50 are outrageous, especially for a then-47-year-old male singer. Bravo!
