While many evil characters in fiction have ideals and sanity to certain point spec is an exception, while having the qualities of a powerhouse like baki characters to do whatever he pleases he unlike yujiro or the other cast is definetely not sane, in fact he has murdered a lot of innocent people for no reason while others such as even yujiro wouldnt do that without reason, also the fact that spec is a floridian serial killer who was inspired by real life serial killers

This guys would give a Resident Evil Tyrant a run for his money. I love his theme and character. He is a shear monster of brutality and strength. A proper horror villain but what is even scarier is that he is human. Coupled with this amazing soundtrack he is even more terrifying. 10/10 villain.

He's my favorite of the 5 convicts. He's hilarious. How he treated the jail like his hotel room and then completely mogged the Police Commissioner. First by overflowing the toilet with his firehose urine stream and then force feeding the Police Commissioner with his unwashed hands as if he was doing the guy a favor. So damn hilarious.
Speck ambushing baki was the first thing i've ever seen of baki in general and this song stuck with me and made me fall in love with the show/manga. Awesome!
Hearing this in the prison camera scene was intense, gave you a bigger perspective on how much of an unstoppable monster Spec is... When this theme started blasting yet again later in his fight with Hanayama, it suddenly became straight up horror. While I'm a little sad Spec was dealt with so early on, I'm also extremely happy I didn't have to wait to see him in action... he is by far the most interesting of the fighters, every time he shows up I'm at the edge of my seat questioning what his next move will be, what his goals are.
Spec feels like the guy who would typically kill the main villain with a single attack after the main character could not beat him for 4 seasons then taking his place as the main villain

to methe most impressive thing about his escape isnt how long he can hold his breath, but how much water pressure he can withstand. for reference here at sea level the air pressure is roughly 1 atmosphere. just 10m underwater it’s 2 atm. then 20m underwater it’s 3 atm etc. he was 200 m underwater or 21x the normal atmospheric pressure on earth.. in other words it’s about half the pressure that a lion can apply to your body with its bite. but coming from every direction at all times.
Spec was easily the best convict. Universe just aligned that he met his hard counter of Hanayama for his first serious fight, the others would have folded faster than a napkin.
Spec was so broken and he’s one of my fav characters for that. Like it literally took Hanayama to go into god mode, literally transcend and harness the the abilities of the higher powers to beat him 😭
