Local Night Snowmobiling Monroe County, NY 2-16-21
Sometime local is better. Fields, ditches, yards, shoulders all the way. When we get a decent snow storm at night. A handful of us will get out our old wedges and run the streets through out town all night till the snowplows hit. just like we used to as kids. Cops are cool as long as your not idiots. In our younger days we had to run a few times. One time a buddy hit a fire hydrant with his jag 440. We left him for the cops! Lol. He still has that sled wich is a 76. I also have my 76 enticer from my childhood. Good to go old school once and while!
That's a great story! Thanks for sharing Chad.
16 miles.. like night riding
Night riding is great if you have good vision but I don't wear my glasses when I ride witch makes it hard for me to see at night. Sorry, Not 16 miles but thanks for playing.
Dude I live fairly close to Rochester. Nice
That's cool! Maybe we'll see you on the trail sometime.
16 miles
No. Sorry, Not 16 miles but thanks for playing sheddski.
9.9 miles
Sorry. Too low. Thanks for the guess.
27 miles.... I love night riding. Safer to ride in a way because you can see the oncoming traffic.
I agree that it can be safer to ride at night but since i don't wear my glasses when I ride it makes it harder for me to see at night. We really don't do much night riding. It's also harder to make a riding video at night too.
Sorry, Not 27 miles but thanks for playing Robert.
40 miles
Not 40. Sadly, I hope no one really thinks I am going to send them a pack of smokes. lol. I think we're going to Old Forge this weekend. Call me later.
42.8 miles
No. Sorry, Not 42.8 miles but thanks for playing Haggardness.
A bumpy day of riding is way better than a smooth day at work.
I can't argue with that. Braap!
Awesome, always gotta get a night ride in at least once a year. And always gotta get a local ride in too!
You got that right! Thanks Andrew.
Paid te how many miles you boys get in a season? You should also do MY2022 reviews for skidoo on your channel. Provide thoughts and impressions
We all did a little bit different mileage since we didn't do all of our riding together but I have about 1000 miles on so far. I'll look into the 2022 sleds. Thanks Jeff.
Hey little brother... I love the Night ride video!
Glad you enjoyed it brother! It's hard for me to see at night since i don't wear my glasses when I ride so we don't do much night riding. Hope to see you all soon once the weather warms up and the borders open!
Webster ridge runners where out like clock work they do an excellent job when there is snow. Same with the williamson driftriders . I have never ridden around home ( ONTARIO NY ) always go up north . I went out at home after we got the snow it was so amazing i didnt trailer anywhere till it thawed .. now im back to trailering
Unfortunately I have to trailer even when we're local. Thanks for the comment Jerry.
I did more night riding than day riding my first year. I loved it. Riding after work even for 30 miles was enough to scratch the itch. It's pretty wild in a snow storm too, had a couple rides in Strykersville and Warsaw that were intense at times. Hope you like that trailer. Make sure you tie that sled down. My son didn't and his sled when out with his buddies, dented the front up a little.
I don't know if you saw the video but I make an anchor to attach to the tongue of the trailer. It seams to work great. It was really windy on Monday night and it didn't move a millimeter. I love the trailer! I'm sure you're loving yours too. Thanks for sharing Craig.
Kinda interesting to see a snowmobile vlog, seen lots of bike ones but this is the first sled one, keep it up 👍
Thanks, will do! Please consider subscribing Ride Garage.
great video maybe 25 miles looks like u had plenty of snow
We defiantly had the snow but a little grooming on the power lines would have made it a great ride. Sorry, Not 25 miles but thanks for playing & watching Nate.
Cool video. 64 miles
Sorry. Not 64 miles. Thanks for watching drbobvs.
Local riding used to be fun but it was always tore up. Used to be able to leave from my house when we had the snow but changes in the corporate park near me and losing a bridge changed all that. We could go into NE PA and do some riding as I'm right near the border. Some late lights I'll tell ya! Safe travels my friends!
Yes. I agree. Thanks Darryl.

@@Paisteboy No you don’t have to but I park my trailer there anyway and mine had 2900 miles it and I don’t wanna go over 3000 to get a little better trade in value.. Wife and I are either getting 2022 xrs renegades 850’s or his 2 2021 demo sleds which are also 850 gades ..Can’t wait til next year already🤣

No bathrooms in that gas station though. Lol. Unless that changed. Does Gary wear a tekvest?

what are your thoughts on a 129 vs 137 in the tight corners?
129 is better
I couldn't say from experience since I haven't ridden a 137 very much. I would think the 129 is better but by how much i'm not sure. Thanks Nate.
