CT I am 48 with heart problems. I used to work out from 16 to 35 until I was diagnosed with Dilated Cardio Myopathy. I died on the table a couple times flown out to another hospital and spent awhile in ICU. They wanted me to get a heart transplant and I said no, just make me last 15 more years to see my kids graduate. So from 35 to 47, I tried to get back into working out and was just too scared. I have a defibrillator and was worried about the wires coming out etc. Then I saw your videos and long story short, Thank you. If I hadn't seen your story, I probably would still be sitting here wishing I would go to the gym and not going. I go in balls to the wall, and if the lord is going to take me, well I am going to put up a good fight. Again, Thank you.
That was the most inspirational and motivational speak I have ever heard. I used to be in the 500lbs club. meaning I could bench 500+ lbs but in 2014 I suffered two strokes. Since watching Brother CT Fletcher I've learned how to walk again. I'm mowing my own lawn again and recently I started working out again. Thanks for the motivation CT. I love ya brother.
An amazingly captivating orator, a genius in his own right, this message has ramifications in all aspects of life. I came for a quick 5 minute drop in and before I knew it 30 minutes past. 27+ headless lion trainers disliked this video.

I HOPE SOMEONE READS THIS. I just 30 minutes typing it lmao. This video was the foundation I needed to complete an Olympic Triathlon. I had just signed up for an Olympic Triathlon right before this video was released. Last February I was obese. 240lbs (Heaviest I ever was being 270lbs). I decided it was time to be healthy, and stop being miserable. I completed all three rounds of Focus T25 at home workout program. Lost 55+lbs. Then I did P90X3, got injured, and then did T25 again. In January of this year, while in the middle of Beta Round of T25, I found CT's videos, and finally bought a Planet Shitness gym membership. I know, it's not a real gym, but with solid guidance from Rich Piana, Kali Muscle, and CT I started a new chapter of my life. I fell in love with the gym. Lactic acid build-up became my new favorite drug. I still loved cardio because of what T25 started me out, so I ran 20 minutes a day, I ran my first 5k on a treadmill, and gained the desire to compete in a real one. As fate would have it, I was biking to the gym one Sunday morning (Left my house at 6:45am), and I happened across a 5k race. Entry fee was $30, there was an ATM a mile away, and 30 minutes before the start of the race. I withdrawed the money, and I raced. 26:45 was my first time. The next weekend, I rode my bike 55 miles from my house to Philly, ran another 5k at 26:34, and rode back. The next weekend, I rested up, and ran another 5k at 25:32. I won in my age bracket. There were only 13 of us, but I've never been an athletic person, so this was an amazing personal achievement for me. The next weekend I signed up for a Triathlon not even knowing if I could swim. 1 mile swim, 27 mile bike (1,300ft of elevation change), and a 6 mile run. I had 9 weeks to train. I thought the swim would be cake. I knew how to swim, and I knew I could bike 110miles and run 3.1miles, so how much harder could it be? Before my first practice swim, this video came out, and it reminded me of how strong my will was. I had come so far from the man I used to be. I went from 2xls and a gut that hung over my belt, to M tanktops and a solid 4 pack. I knew that this race was just another test of my will. I got in the pool the first time, swam two laps, and had a full-blown panic attack. I was in NO WAY prepared to swim. I was absolute dogshit at swimming. However, this video reminded me of how much of an animal I had become, and that swimming was just another hurdle that I was going to overcome. I woke up at 5am and swam before work, went to work, came home and biked 15miles to the gym, did my body building workouts, and biked home 5 miles (different route) EVERY WEEKDAY for 9 weeks. On the weekends, I would do bricks (30+ mile bikes and 4+ mile runs) mixed with my bodybuilding. I built an absolute machine. I completed that olympic tri in 3 hours and 27 minutes. My leg cramped up 1/4 mile into the swim, and I had to do the rest on my back with out using my one leg. I could barely stand when I got back to the dock, I limped to my bike, passed 100 people on the bike ride. During the run my legs locked up. I couldn't even walk. The pain was so intense that I nearly laid down. THIS IS WHEN MY WILL TOOK OVER! I had come TOO FAR AND TRAINED TOO FUCKING HARD to deny myself the opportunity to finish this race. I made myself run the rest of the race. I achieved my goal because THAT'S THE ONLY THING THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN THAT DAY!!! I WAS GOING TO BE VICTORIOUS!! I have since lightened up on the cardio, 12 miles of biking a day with 2.5 mile runs sprinkled here and there. I've gone swimming a couple times for the hell of it, but my new favorite thing to do is powerlift. I've gained 30lbs since the race (I was 175 on race day). Every once of it is pure muscle. My bench has gone from 205 to 295 (315 within the next month because I fuckin' said so), my deadlift has gone from 365 to 455 (just hit that Wednesday) and squats from 275 to 315 (I didn't train legs at all while training for the tri because I didn't want to injure them in any way). I'M A BAAAAAAD MAN!!! And I still watch this video once every 2 weeks to remind myself of that. Thanks, CT. PS My new 5k time is 23:35
dannydbdhoes you can totally do it. Just a word of advice, if you haven't practiced swimming, get on it. The swimming is hands down the hardest part. Also, if you can, try to do open water swimming. It's a completely different animal.

Well, got back to the gym thanks to your lactures sir. Thank you... Today I'm replaying your video for the 20th time... Got to hear those good words to get things going... And let's get big! Thank you
CT, I am 29 years old. Was a collegiate athlete. Started lifting at 18. When I was 19 I developed a massive blood clot in my brain. Was deathly sick for 6 months. By age 20 I was back in the gym lifting. Finished college and started a career. When I was 25 I developed a blood clot in my leg which clotted all the way up thru my vena cava into the right atrium of my heart. Several massive pulmonary embolisms went thru my heart and into my lungs. I should've died, almost did chocking on my own blood. 2 months after getting out of the hospital I was back to lifting. Weight lifting and being in the gym saved my life and to this day people don't even realize the shit I experienced because I don't look like someone who has a massive clot in their brain or scar tissue in my lungs from pulmonary embolisms, much like you don't look like someone who has had medical trauma. I am an IRON ADDICT. It has been my life saver and my only place of pleasurable pain!! Your story inspires me so much.
EVERYONE who is hesitant about his or her's own personal goals should watch this video. These are life lessons that folks can certainly benefit from and help others to benefit as well. Bravo, CT!
This is great, and after having a car crash 7-8 months ago where according to every medical practitioner its a miracle I came out with no real life long injuries let alone dying and breaking my neck, femur, tibia, 5 ribs and lower back. It's been getting back to the gym and pushing harder than before that's let me stay sane through all the mental struggles after.

I have to say that out of ALL of CTs videos, ALL of his motivational speeches, this one is my favorite. Because will power is essential for me personally to reach my goals.

CT I'm 15 I've first started lifting weights when I was 12. I used to weigh 200 pounds of mostly fat and not very much muscle. I've dropped my weight down to 170 and I've been lifting every day. My weight is back up to 200 and that's because I love to lift. I can't go without touching a set of weights and lifting till I can't do another rep. I can curl 110 but I've not tried to go any higher than that. I bench 195, I squat 435, I dead lift 200 and I leg press 1045. All of those I've not tried to go any higher than what I felt comfortable with. You got me into lifting and I want to thank you for that. I love to push myself and improving you give me the motivation to keep going every time I get in there and I lift. I live in a small town in Missouri and I'm an iron addict. It would be awesome if I could train with you. Thank you CT Fletcher.

Listening to CT took me from 175 to 200lbs with muscle loaded. The willpower he talks about pushed me into a new career, through a divorce and much adversity. Will pushes up over 350 lbs for me but the mind is the key! Thanks CT!

Soo sweet
You can hear ct fletchers heart vale pumping into the mic.. this man is a walking testimony/ legend
that clicking sound on the background is Ct's hart pumping, #RESPECT man
Could you picture Fletcher training our vets during basic training? We'd have 20 year vets for days.
One Day At A Time ill go a step further and actually say he could create super soldiers frfr
C.T. as Drill? The only guns the recruits would need are the ones hanging off of their arms, when C.T. Drill was done with them. It's one thing to build a body, however if you can build the mind and Will simultaniously... Unstoppable! Need proof? look up C.T. Fletcher again, he is walking talking proof.
That was the most honest speech i have ever heard. He wants you to know you are lions and not sheep.
Your a true inspiration brother!!! Thank you!
To hear him speak so calmly compared to his normal videos and yet still command the same attention is amazing, the respect this man gets and the motivation he provides.... That shit is just crazy. This man is awesome!!!!!
