Old pcv broke on me too, I ended up having to take off the valve cover, since I was there I replaced the gasket and we’re back in business, took me about 3 hours

1/4 inch racket with a ten mil socket works beautiful
You need a ratchet wrench. That’s just Normal tools needed for any mechanical work. I’m a retired engineer so I know not all of them aren’t bad. FYI Lucy Thomas released a new single a few days ago and I know you and your Wife are going to want to watch it. The title is “Evergreen”. It’s just as beautiful as it is mesmerizing. I think it is one of her best works. Hope you got your car straightened out.
