Another detail about Geb. Up until recently, it was actually ruled by someone else. That being Arazni. She was once the herald of Aroden, sent in by her god to fight Tar-Baphon, who did awful things to her and then threw her corpse at the human armies who rose against him. Aroden then replaced her with Iomedae, and everything was cool until Geb did a little trolling, stole Arazni's remains, and resurrected her as a brainwashed lich queen to rule his kingdom so he didn't have to. And that went on for a while until the Whispering Tyrant came back, and Arazni got so pissed when she heard about it that she regained free will, told Geb to stuff it, and left to eventually become a core deity of Golarion.
I'd like to get my hands-on some of that coffee I hear it'll keep you up on those nights where you've got a short deadline and a long list works that need scribed into new tomes
Congratulations! This is the first video from a channel I subscribed to that didnt show in my subscriptions feed, I always thought I lucked out and avoided those shenanigans. Am I gonna have to "hit the bells" now? Am i gonna have to regularly go through my list of subscriptions and check if the rhythmic algae hid any videos? I miss the old internet. Good video, btw. The red mantis are atleast smart enough to sell their swords as souvenirs to help them blend in better, and their god literally has brain damage, be a bit more understanding please.
Indeed, the algorithm coin toss will doom us all. Glad you found the video despite its nonsense! I'm sure Achaekek is trying his best. His best is just poor ;-)
My favorite thing about Achaekek is that he's one of the few gods that will actually just show up in person and kill you if you anger him sufficiently. Like, he tears a portal through the planes to your location, shreds you to pieces in the most personal way possible while also ensuring resurrection is impossible, and drags your body into the Blood Cleft. He's not subtle about his disfavor lol
@@theloretourNobody from Hermea would never WANT to leave... I'm starting to think that the Guide is paid by evildoers to stain the reputation of Hermea =)
Never was interested in Pathfinder but oh boy, what the wreckage of the setting it sounds like! Did I understood correctly that it is typical fantasy worldbuilding with a bit of grimdark... where somehow get lost literally aliens from Sci-Fi B-Movies and isekai'ed real historical perosons from the Earth???
The official setting for Pathfinder is indeed what could be called a 'kitchen sink' fantasy; it is designed to offer a home to every kind of sub-genre and game. From jungle exploration in the Mwangi Expanse to post-apocalyptic survival in the Gravelands, every kind of game has a home within. Of course, holistically, this means that the overall picture is beautifully chaotic!

I am drawn to Golarion for the same reason i am drawn to Sigil. Great explanation.
I'm sad that you didnt go into more detail about Geb! It is pretty unique by being an entire nation ruled and populated by undead

I'm starting to think the Guide might be from Hermea...
Impossible! Nobody from Hermea would ever be allowed to leave... (Because it's perfect.)
