    Thank you so much for this, just took my razor apart and realized it did not look like my other Remmington, which I frequently take apart to clean. Had no idea how to reconfigure it. Thank you for this wonderful video, it was very direct and well stated. Much appreciation.

    Do you need to also replace the outside "blades" too..if so how often and can you replace them as separate or one piece? Do you have a link?

    I don't know about the current stage of these razors but maybe 5 years ago I was looking for a quick way to shave before work........The issues I had that ended up me dumping this type of shaving....Shaving every day caused razor burns.....Trimming mustaches still needed other utensils......Couldn't go a week without shaving , caused tugs and pain......Comments?

      A green bottle of electric shave helps.

      @@terrytolentino5459 or wetting face and using Alum block all over it and let it sit for 30 seconds and then use electric shaver. Both methods work equally well for me.

      I know this post is a year old and I’m sure you found a solution, but couldn’t help respond as I was in the same situation u. One thing I learned was that your skin needs to get used to using an electric razor so you will go through a “breakout “phase until the skin adjusts. I personally didn’t know this. Apparently, your skin has memory and must get acclimated to new devices and routines. Secondly, although I love my Remingtons, I have recently discovered Braun Foil shavers- which have been total game changers. There are various models, and I still don’t understand the dynamics of each, but for around the same price as the Remington rotary, you can get a basic Braun & and I promise you it will be one of the best shaving experience you’ll have, especially if your skin is a little sensitive like mine. I can use my daily, wet or dry, even multiple times a day and get a much closer less abrasive shave than I do using the Remmington rotary. So, if the Remington Rotary is becoming irritating, especially for daily use, I highly urge you to check out a Braun. Just wanted to share my experience and what helped me… I know how much razor burn stinks and want to share what change the game for me!

    Can i use this tho shave my head? Does someone knows if it serves that porpouse?

    • @Billbob0327
      @Billbob0327 2 месяца назад

      You can definitely use this shaver to shave your head, but they make much better ones that are more effective and specifically designed to shave your head. One brand is called bulldog, but Remington also makes a shaver specifically for the head. This will definitely get the job done though, it will just take a little longerand might be a little more abrasive on the scalp.

    I just bought this ($30) at Walmart and think that the motor is underpowered. It was cutting and pulling my whiskers. I'm going to return it.

    • @Billbob0327
      @Billbob0327 2 месяца назад +1

      I would definitely return it. I would also call the company and let them know what happened. I have had similar situations, and I was surprised at how generous some of the companies are. I had a wall razor die on me, and after buying three of them, I finally got fed up and called customer service and they sent me out a top-of-the-line model of their most expensive razor free of charge. I never realize that these kind of electronics come with factory warranties. I’m so used to either returning them or just throwing them out and buying new ones, but I’ve recently started registering the product and working with the company directly and I’ve actually gotten further by doing that, even just letting them know your experience they might offer you something for your troubles. They’re very interested in that type of feedback in order to help them improve quality control.
