As a beginner (I've only used a SUP once before on a trip to hawaii on a lagoon) who would mostly paddle on flat water (lakes) as my most convenient water bodies, but would also like small surf. I tend to oscillate in weight, but I'm around 6'1" and at my heaviest up to as high as 130kg, although more typically around at 'athletic' 110-115kg. (I'd like the board to handle me at my heaviest though). I've been seriously looking at the Beast and the Monster, sounds like the beast has some new features, but might the size of the Monster suit me better? Haven't done many water sports for a while, but i tend to be an endurance person with sports looking to spend a good few hours and covering decent distance. (less adrenaline, more slog). Budget is fairly flexible, but I'm not looking to gold plate in case i end up not liking it.
Hi, I'm looking into buying my first iSUP. I've owned a SUP board before and I am a quite keen surfer so I do have some experience. What board would you suggest for me? My budget is around the £350 mark so both the beast and the monster is within range. I've not checked the other models you mentioned yet. I'll be using the board mostly for calm lake paddles where I might bring some packing for picnics and possibly even camping but I'd love it if it wasn't terrible in a small wave the few times I do bring it to the sea. Thanks for a great channel! Cheers!
Hi Kim I would choose between the Beast and or the Magma. The monster is getting a tad long at 12foot and as such wound not perform as well in The Surf as the Beast or the Magma. The Beast is the easiest to ride of the two boards and will be more stable in undulating conditions. That said the Magma will be faster board to paddle over a distance. I hope this helps you to make the right decision. Cheers Graham
Hi, great review, i want buy a paddleboard for river or lake, i ve already test the magna and fusion, and like the magna. I ve 100 kg, what recomended between beast vs magma i want a agile sup for small travesy. Thx
The Magna will be a faster board to paddle over distance than the Beast as the Beast is a wider board but will be more stable in undulating conditions. If you found that the magma was easy to ride then I would stick with the magma if you found the magma a bit unstable or difficult to ride then the Beast would be the better board I hope this helps.
That depends on what you are going to use the board for. The Beast is the better all rounder. That said if you are going to use this board primarily for the surf or white water then the Rapid. I hope this helps you. Cheers Graham
@@watercooledsup1763 thanks for the reply I live near the beach but so probably the rapid by the looks of it would like to have a paddle on some lakes too but could probably get away with the rapid for that for how many times I would be doing that sort of thing both look great but I think you made my mind up Rapid it is cheers Rodd
Thanks for the review. I bought this board and having heaps of fun on it.

Thanks for this all areas review. I think that's the board for me in 🇩🇰🏄🏼♂️
Hi! Do you think the Beast would be able to handle opne faced waves, medium size?
Cool!!! I also bought a Board like this. I'll ride the river.
