Story 7 made me very angry. It was extremely relatable. To the storyteller: I’m sorry you had to deal with that person. They were a narcissist. You can never win with one so you have to completely disappear from their sights in order to not fall victim to their mind games. They are pure evil, literally demons have a strong hold on individuals with this personality type. But I think since it got to a point of actually affecting your job and caused emotional damage you could’ve pressed charges against her.
Luckily that one is probably fake lol. Way too many inconsistencies for it to be real. She could’ve asked her manager to check the cameras several times or let her boyfriend know that Tina was jealous of her. The part where Tina somehow blackmailed all of the companies in her hometown is definitely fake- who has all of their hometown’s companies’ emails on hand? And why would they even care about some random stranger’s opinion, let alone actually read anything that’s not a company email or an application?

Story 2: The part where the girl at the beginning looked up from her phone, then to the feeezer part where she said it was a time before cellphones were available? How does that figure?
It went from comedy to drama to dark film to psychological thriller. Did Kyung Ja even know that that was her actual granddaughter? Like, woah, what a series!
Others have pointed out that story 2 was fake and had inconsistencies. For anyone who is upset, i understand the frustration but i implore you to remember why we love these stories. Theyre great and relaxing.
First story. Inside a privately owned restaurant is NOT public area especially in USA and customers eating are protected by law. The restaurant owner can have that employee tresspassed and the customer who got her privacy invaded can press charges.
If I ever own a business, I would never have only one person working late nights. They are so vulnerable being alone. I understand needing workers but come on! This man's hygiene is a full code violation. It's the restaurants fault that ending happened. That Tina story could've been avoided. That girl kept allowing Tina to get away with everything. There's no cameras in that place like wtf? I would've baited her.. As I'm thinking about it, the Tina story is so fake. There's too much inconsistencies. How was she able to change a schedule only op didn't see and there's no proof of it. I'm sure an email was sent out. Wouldn't ops name be missing from the email? Also, how did she smeared feces everywhere in the bathroom and Noone noticed the smell when she left or that she herself smelt like poop?... I smell something alright and I call bs
Yeah the Tina story is definitely fake. I don’t even know how you could be friends with someone like that without any of their obviously psychopathic tendencies showing at some point. And why did everyone believe Tina anyways? They all just kept taking her word with no evidence and for some reason hated the narrator for no reason. Either the narrator was leaving out some key details to make themselves look better or it’s fake.
HA! Hilarious, check out my comment!! Not just a lie, it's total BS! Like we're all too dumb and actually believe it? B, please? We're used to listening to TRUE scary stories to help us drift off to sleep, we can spot a liar (or hear one!) when we hear one! Don't piss down our legs and tell us it's raining! And she went to therapy over being a habitual liar, maybe! That's the only thing remotely conceivable.
Whoa!! I was talking about story #2 at first, I kept listening on and I'm calling BS on story #2, 4, 5 & 6 - the Tina story. Omg!? Why do all these people feel this need to lie? The thing is the true stories (legit true) are the scary ones. What a crappy almost entire Let's Read story!? This is not the usual. Worst episode ever.. Pretty disappointing
Exactly I got robed at gunpoint working at a gas station alone at night 4 people on during the day and 100 pound me alone at night was just stupid ppl were so sketchy at night I knew something bad was guna happen and no one listened
Story 3 must not have been the U.S. or not somewhere in the States with at-will employment. That company enabled his behavior and deserved to lose their entire staff.
Yeah, I'm real glad I'm no longer in foodservice. While it's usually the exception and not the rule, there's still some real creepers in that line of work.
I usually avoid stories read by American narrator’s. They tend to shout or their voices are harsh. I compliment this narrator (can’t find his name), his voice is very soothing and a delight to listen to. Thank you!
I find stories like story 5 pretty dumb, that manager would be out the door the moment you mention a lawsuit lol. Something similar happened to my mom when she was in her 20s, she worked at some local coffee shop and the manager was some gross older dude, he hit on anything that moved and one day he grabbed my mom and immediately she walked out and the next day contacted the owner, and when the owner tried brushing it under the rug, she threatened to get a lawyer involved and threatened to sue him. The owner very quickly changed his mind and fired the dude. it's really as simple as that, and if the owner refuses to do anything, than it's a wrap, sue and get money, lol

Yeah Tinas a mastermind 😂 seems fake to me too
Story 3 pisses me off, like no I work at a restaurant and even if we had a small staffed we won’t allow ppl acting like that that’s just disgusting
This is exactly why I never eat.
story 8 damn cops actually protecting and serving a citizen wild
About 20 years in this industry, my oh my do I have stories!
After an all-nigher, this is just what I needed to mellow out. Thanks a ton, Joel! 🙌
Obsession by the unhinged is the scariest thing to live through.
Story 3 must not have been the U.S. or not somewhere in the States with at-will employment. That company enabled his behavior and deserved to lose their entire staff.
❤❤❤❤
I really hope that the diner's ex-boyfriend heard this story, he's stupidly an idiot for believing the lie
Thank you!
Your the Alpha, keep it up, ur the best storytelling creater, your voice has this unique vibe into it😮
I dont know why but some of this is so funny 😂
Story 5 - you DID have evidence, but your other coworkers and customers were to chickensh*t to get involved. 🤬
❤yay!!❤
EXACTLY! I stg this story is fake af.
