It seemed that in S-Cinetone you tried to too hard recover the highlights and there was a magenta skin shift, the Slog3 looked better to me. I do find that the S-Cinetone at 2000ISO is brighter then slog3 @ 2000iso. Meaning that SLOG3 at 12800 isn't as bright as S-Cinetone at 12800. I'm not saying that you should shoot at these Values but it goes to show that the profiles have different ISO Brightness and S-cinetone at 2000 ISO is would be quite capable in a low light scenario if shooting at F1.4, and less noise then SLOG3 @ 12800. blah blah nerd nerd
Yes, I pushed the footage shot in S-Cinetone to the extreme on purpose. I will definitely try the two profiles, S-Cinetone and S-Log3, in low light. Thank you!
