    That "dust" is a drug called "Scopolamine", and this type of crime is called "Paseo Millonario / Millionaire's Trip" common in Colombia & Venezuela. So, who ever did this, you know where they learned it - and like did it from

      I wish the journalists would explain it better what the drug is and how it makes people susceptible to influence while they’re under a spell of sorts. Such terrible journalism. This happened several years ago in SF’s Chinatown targeting Chinese seniors. The news at the time also failed to explain what was happening.

    • @Easyrider4732
      @Easyrider4732 Месяц назад +6

      This doesn't sound right I agree ATM has a limit on how much you can withdraw and if you can't remember what your doing how could you remember a debit card pin number, no ATM machine allows you to get $5,000.00 to 10,000.00 out of even if you went to several ATM machine you'd get a fraud alert and the card would be canceled and I really don't think she had that much in the bank because she said it not about the money.

    • @mrmrso228
      @mrmrso228 Месяц назад

      @@Easyrider4732 I get cash for my boss and I have taken out as much as $8k from the ATM. However, the bank he uses (which is also an investment bank) had to allow for those withdrawals and as I have found out, only certain banks will allow numerous withdrawals of large amounts. Example, I found a Capital One in Midtown that will allow for numerous $1,000 withdrawals numerous times. Bank of America caps at $1,000/every 24 hours.
      The realty is that most of us are NOT in the net worth bracket my boss is in and we are capped at maybe $1,000/day ATM cash withdrawal.
      This woman had to have gone to a teller.

    They absolutely will not let me withdraw any amount of cash without my debit card and my PIN number. I don’t see how this poor woman could remember her PIN number while being drugged, unless Chase doesn’t require a pin. Either way this is terrible, that’s a lot of money!

    Paterson is one of the worst cities in New Jersey. It's full of predators. I'll never understand why people choose to live in areas like that or New York City. There are plenty of suburbs in New Jersey that don't cost a hell of a lot more to live in and are a million times safer. Everyone regardless of age must be aware of their surroundings at all times and definitely don't let anyone approach you.

    Hardly a few were there in my community decades bck, but now happening more.
    Modernising society - PPL rely more on fashions, luxuries aka materialism.
    Those days of families lives, attachment to civil bonds, cultural values are getting lost.
    More the modern , more the luxuries, more the lewd fun - more the crimes; directly proportionality link.
