How many people got hooked onto Tokio Hotel because of this song? I know that I'm definitely one of them! I've being listening to this song 24/7 for the past month and I'm still not tired of it! Some songs never lose their charms over time, for example this one! ^_^

I'm fighting all this power coming in my way
Let it take me straight to you
I've been running night and day
I'll be with you soon just me and you
We'll be there soon, so soon
    Running through the monsoon
Beyond the world 'til the end of time
    Where the rain won't hurt
Fighting the storm into the blue
And when I lose myself I think of you
Together we'll be running somewhere new
And nothing can hold me back from you
    Through the monsoon

Es ist fast wortwörtlicch übersetzt!Es ist eine sehr gute Überstzung wie ich finde, von der Grammatik im Englischen weiß ich nichts und mit dem Englischen Satzbau kenn ich mic hauch nit so gut aus, aber ich als Laie würde mal sagen, dass die Übersetzung sehr gut ist!
    A very good translation! :)

Yes dear, like all boys before their voice break.
I think Durch den Monsun is a lovely song, very well writen, especially if you consider that Bill was 14 I think when he wrote it. He's a briliant, sensitive songwriter in my opinion.

I absolutely adore this song! The lyrics are beautifula nd have such amazing meaning and imagery.
It has such a relaxing effect on me, and as an English girl, I find this German version so much more relaxing and intruiging than the English version.

Hi! I just want to say that monsoon is the english version of durch den monsoon but they did not use the "direct" translation verbatim (word for word)... they changed it a bit for the english version, so it would fit the whole timing and rhyming.. This video just shows what the german version "directly" mean and not what the lyrics of the english version is... that's why you find it quite different.. hope this helps you... have a nice day..:)

  • @TwoBrokenWyngs

They are the lyrics. This is how the German lyrics DIRECTLY translate to English.
Monsoon, the English version, has altered lyrics so that they will fit the rhyme and meter.

Did you read the little grey box?
"Monsoon" isn't an exact, word for word translation of "Durch den Monsun". This is. What you read here is exactly what he says in the German version, while "Monsoon" was adapted so that it sounds right when singing.

  • @JuicyHabboNuts
    @JuicyHabboNuts 15 лет назад

this is exactly what i wanted! the REAL translation of this song because I know that they had to change the lyrics when they translated it from German to English.

    english lyrics are
I'm staring at a broken door
    There's nothing left here anymore
My room is cold, it's making me insane
I've been waitin' here so long
Another moment seems to have come
I see the dark clouds comin' up again

this is to everyone who keeps saying that the translation is wrong: idk how many times its been said but people dont seem to understand that when u translate something directly from any language to another its not gonna be exactly the same!

  • @TwoBrokenWyngs
    @TwoBrokenWyngs  14 лет назад

@COSHMEDIA What the hell? That's what Monsoon is. The English version. It takes the general meaning of the original lyrics and translates them into sensible English terms. That's the point of MY video -- to show what the exact literal translation is, for anyone that is curious.

if u guys are trying to compare it to the english "Monsoon" song, the translation isn't direct! Durch den monsoon came before the english version, so these lyrics are the correct ones

    @ Vegojo96
Its the DIRECT traslation... The lyrics were changed abit so that it would still have the same amount of syllables in both english and german versions. Anyways look at THIS video... Their teenagers... then look at the english version, their adults, so this one was made first meaning that the ENGLISH one was "rong".
Also rong is spelt WRONG so your wrong!

    Running through the monsoon
Beyond the world 'til the end of time
    Where the rain won't hurt
Fighting the storm into the blue
And when I lose myself I think of you
Together we'll be running somewhere new
Through the monsoon just me and you
A half moon fading from my sight

But now it's gone and left me so alone

not to be rude but at the part where he sings "hinter de weilt" (i dont know the spelling) theres one interview that its actually "behind the time" i forgot what interview was that but when the interviewer sings his own version(cause he translated it) he accidentally sings it behind the time and bill corrects it as beyond the world in their english version(well i dont really know
