The example he used there wasn't a spin Dash or a spin attack, that was just Sonic rolling on the spot to build up momentum for a powerful kick. This dude clearly believes that any time Sonic is rolling in a boll on the ground is a so in dash
In the 3D department the Spin Dash fell off in Sonic Heroes and it got worse in Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 06 and in Sonic Lost World the Spin Dash was eh. If Sonic Frontiers can make the Spin Dash the way it is in Sonic Adventure or Sonic Adventure 2 or the 2D Sonic games they Spin Dash won't fall off again
If you thought the Spin Dash in Lost World was eh then you clearly don't know that it can be maintained indefinitely simply by pressing & holding the Spin Dash button after executing the Spin Dash
Sonic’s Rolling animation Doesn’t Count as a Spin-dash cause you had to press the down arrow on the d-pad and press A,B, or C but in Sonic 1 - Sonic 2 (8-bit) you couldn’t do that
Damn it, I wish Sonic ‘06 was better because I just realized how cool it looks And then you get into the actual gameplay and want to kill your self! YAY!
