This game looks like it would be insanely good fun for a room of drunk men for about 20 mins.
My college friends and I would’ve gotten stoned and played the hell out of this, as it was we spent a lot of time playing hilariously janky PS1 and PS2 games when we weren’t playing Burnout or Timesplitters 2 or Champions of Norrath.

For a supposed dystopia, the city of Ashen just looks like Cleveland or Detroit or literally any other American Rust Belt city today.

Road Rash 64 was pretty fun. Nothing like shoving a crowbar in the spokes of the guy in first at top speed.
I actually want to play this game. It looks so bad but good enough to have fun with all the stupid stuff happening. Just the perfect mess.

This is very different from Road Rash in one respect--Road Rash was fun.
The Ashens joke made me crack up!
Road Redemption came out roughly the same time. It was more road rash bashed and roughly £1 on one of the CDKeys websites for the Xbox and surprisingly it was very good.
"Dystopian" is such a lazy trope in games, let's just make everything brown and grey. In some games it works fine but in most it's just making them all look and feel the same. How about a dystopia that looks like Jumping Flash
I'm glad it was TP playing this one, he has some experience with racing games and it was fun seeing him try to actually control it like a racing game and it being just a complete pig anyway.

The "you can attack right as well as left" is stated as, on real world motorbikes, you use your right hand to control the bike, so really can't then use that to punch people too

I was sooooo pissed when I bought this. I thought it would be a new version of road rash. I was so disappointed.
If you try the PS4 version in splitscreen the whole game turns to a slideshow.

I was like "Roag Rage was great, what you you talking about!". Then I remembered this is the crappy version that kept the old games Road Rash. Unlike the much better Road Redemption which is by all means a better version of the old series, then this garbage version was.

Don't blame QA for things like these. They always do their job, but higher ups rarely listen.
a motorcycle DOES NOT have a handbrake Peter. what would it have a flipping hand brake for? I have owned two, and neither one had a hand brake because that is only for vehicles with 4 TYRES.
Next he'll ask how to shift into reverse, which (shocker!) on a motorcycle, you shift into neutral and reverse with your legs, like a bicycle or flintstones car. The handbrake is used to park on a hill or at an angle and not have the heavy car roll away. with a motorcycle you just have a kickstand and your brain.
hand brake. jesus. i don't like to point out mistakes people make like this, but think for a few seconds about a motorcycle hand brake and you'll understand why they don't exist in real life. for friggins' sake.

This is the funniest episode in ages. What a stinker. The bit where Peter’s character poses seductively on the asphalt after falling off his bike with a baseball bat up his arse is a classic.
