Protoss cinematics always give me chills.
Anyone else think that Star craft would make a really Epic movie Franchise? The Story line is a Vast Universe to build a Movie from.
+darkblaze176 Seeing as Starcraft was basically copied from Warhammer 40k and Warhammer has much bigger and awesome lore, I would prefer series based on that franchise :)
***** Starcraft did not rip off Warhammer 40,000, and another false rumor would be that Starcraft was "supposed" to be Game Workshop's new Warhammer game before differences caused Blizzard to head out on their own.
And actually you are thinking of warcraft. When relations went sour, Blizzard renamed it warcraft and that was that. The two companies were well apart by the time Starcraft and WH40k were made.

Nah it's well established fact - Blizzard wanted to do Warhammer 40k, but didn't get the license. So they made Starcraft. They themselves have admitted that in interviews. It's not a bad thing, Starcraft is great - I am just sad how much more awesome would the game be if it followed Warhammer 40k lore and had Blzzard's brilliance behind it. It's also pretty obvious marines are designed after Space Marines, Zerg are basically a copy of Tyranids and Protoss - well they take alot from Tau, mixed with Eldar.
Warcraft had the same story - wanted to do Warhammer Fantasy, didn't get a license, hence Warcraft :)
Also Warhammer 40k was out for quite a while before even the idea of Starcraft was formed :)
Although WH40K is cool, Starcraft would be more popular
Why not both? Everyone ripped off shit. Tbh both give me Alien/Starship Troopers/Star Wars vibes, which were also inspired by other shit. - As long as it works, you know. It's not a reason to not make a series based on both games. Games often have better stories than most crap Hollywood shits out now and we are in need of good sci-fi anyway. (as long as they make it good, cause I have no doubt they can fuck up Warhammer 40k and Starcraft effortlessly...) Unfortunately adaptation to any of these games would need at least GoT budget, so that ain't happening.

The game is called Starcraft 2, the cinematic (original clip) is the intro to the game Starcraft 2: Legecy of the void. Starcraft 2 is split into 3 games, in chronological order: Starcraft 2 : Wings of Liberty, Starcraft 2: Hearth Of the Swarm, Starcraft 2: Legecy of the void. Each is an add-on for the previous game.

Gotta say, Imrael, I liked it. I didn't like it as much as some of your other stuff (as I've said before, your ULTRAnumb video still has that spot) but I liked it all the same. The video choice was (admittedly) pretty obvious, but I liked the focus on Protoss over all others. The synchronization of video and music felt a little off, but maybe it's just me.
All in all, another damn fine piece of work, and I can't wait for what's next. (Maybe something from Blue Stahli's new album, or some more Starset?)

to imrael this song reminds me of how i farmed nirvana books of zerg and animorphs to an age of power to the rightoues as it is a mind mine and fears mine i formed and fought. power was to the wicked yet rightoues myself and terran and protoss powerpotentialing the zerg and claiming such as my true thought creation math and program potential made kinetic to my primal mind honestly with my programs now stolen no doubt kinetically formed earth goodluck on your path to power and may anguish and loss be a power ours even again..
My ex girlfriend really loved this song. She was the one who made a boy to a man. I sacrificed and bled for her. She made me question what it means to be loyal. She helped learn the difference between loyalty and blindness. I fought like a bastard. In the end it was all for nothing. But, this song reminds me of those years.

It just occurred to me that Blizzard could make a great TV show-- not a movie because it would suck(Word..cough..of.cough.warcraft...)-- with the scenes from the starcraft games and add some new ones to tie them all in for grade A episodes. With the money blizz is makin it's possible and I bet even hardcore starcraft players would watch it even if they knew what would happen. I would say it would also be awesome if they tweaked it a bit and made it into an action rpg game( I'm saying this only because I love the genre and would liketo dive into the starcraft universe in that manner)
