Yes. But you have to ask which local jewellers buy silver or any metal back. Also get quotes from 1-3 shops before selling.
Varun - One the biggest issues I am facing is how to sell Silver in market at correct rate. Lot of options for Gold but for silver - the rates are very bad. This is the reason I am not buying silver bars. Seems Augmont app is a better option - sell @ right rates.

Local Jewellery ke pass jao and wahan pata karo. Apko 2-3 jagah kam se kam jana padega. Rate sab alag dete hain. Market mai rate 84,000 hai but bechne ke samay 70-80K kuch bhi mil sakta hai

Yeah it’s a useful metal which isn’t exactly replaced by anything else as of now. Very dynamic pricing but hold it as an alternative along with gold for long term. Just watch out for your buying price as per market conditions.

You’re welcome. Premium may won’t, price will. Haven’t calculated the premium of companies, but price can go up since industrial usage will be back on its feet at a slow pace but demand will be there.

I would sell it at some local jeweller who is willing to buy it (many do). For price related queries I would have to get in touch the day I plan to sell. Not really any ceiling but have to share PAN details over ₹ 1,99,999

I didn’t get your first point, for second point as I said before it depends on jeweller to jeweller regarding price, a jeweller has to make money as well. So they’ll cut some % from market price while they buy it back from you.

BRPL 5gram gold k sath ab certification nahi aata hai kya
Certificate separately nahi milta, certi card hee hota hai jaise pehle tha.
Varun, the bigger denomination silver bars like 500g or 1KG does not come with certi-packing just the certificate but the smaller ones comes with certi-packing. If I have to sell the one without certi-packing to the local jeweler, will they accept just with the certificate or will they test the purity?
I assume the ones with certi-packing they don’t test the purity.

A jeweller may test purity of the bar irrespective of whether there is a certificate or not, you would have to ask your jeweller on what basis they would give you an estimate. Most of the jewellers just check the weight and give estimate on that basis.

Absolutely. Also it is good to ask a jeweller if they buy silver in bulk or prefer small denomination. Can buy accordingly if you have a fixed jeweller/buyer.

Premium + Making Charges + GST + Overheads + Uncertainty leads to higher premiums so manufacturers don’t go in loss.

I too love all BRPL silver bars. I stick to the 100g bars because of the certi-card. The bigger ones (250g and above) have a nice minted feel but they do need to improve the packaging. Those plastic boxes are a real disappointment.
Maybe you can suggest them to provide aluminium boxes for their bigger bars. Would make a world of a difference in perception 😁

Yes, 30kg but I think it’s available only for industry usage. Mostly all brands have them, also ask local jewellers since they have the bricks as well.

How to ensure that BRPL bars are authentic? Is the certificate given with the bar enough for proving it's authenticity. Also, I bought a 100gm BRPL silver bar from Ajio, how can I be sure that it is authentic. Which website is most reliable for buying silver bars online e.g. Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio etc? Is there any other brand which is as good as BRPL in terms of quality and cost?
Only way to check if the metal you hold is original is by getting it tested BIS purity centres. If any package or the content inside is tampered then you can suspect that something went wrong but apart from that I don't see any other concern. I have bought from many sites like amazon and flipkart but not ajio yet. If the seller is directly the manufacturer then shouldn't be a problem.

You can only check the weight of the bar which is obiously always perfect, but you cannot check the purity , there are many fake gold and silver bars circulating which are stuffed with tunsten, nikel and brass.Buying and selling is possible but remember you will pay the making charge 4%+ gst 3% while purchasing. And when you sell the bar the jweller will deduct 8% depreciation charge. I wonder if you will make any profits after that.

Kaafi brands ka price high hota hai kyunki brand value hoti hai. Purity sahi hoti hai. Bohot factors ke wajah se kaafi brands price bohot bada chada kar rakhte hain. Agar koi bina bada brand apko pure gold de toh mai suggest karunga unse lein.

Why do they cut 8 % depreciation? How does a pure rare metal block with a fixed perfect weight get depreciated? 🤔
They don’t get depreciated, what OP could say is that you might get 8% on the spot price so 92% of that rate. But you’re never in loss when you hold for long term or sell when price goes up.
