'Slugs' was so so much fun! I read it YEARS ago when it was first came out....and the sequel is just as gory and fun. 'Hobgoblin' was a very well Coyne book. The movie they made was just alright. I was just talking about Shaun Hutson in a LIVE Horror Chat i did a couple weeks ago on my channel. He always writes a great gory story. "Billy" was a great book, too. It is not what you think it is going to be.....not a violent tale of abuse if you know what i mean. Richard
Hi Cliff , great book haul! I too love vintage horror 📚 I'm currently reading Quake by Richard Laymon 📚 Great video, have subscribed, take care and happy reading 📚💜✨
@@CliffsDarkGems yes, and I have to admit I am struggling. I don't have that much further to go, but I keep picking up books that don't count and just want to shop again 😆
What a fun book haul! There’s something so exciting about tracking down used books that you’ve been wanting to find OR stumbled upon a total jem you’ve never seen!
I love those old horror paperbacks, some of the covers are Awesome!! Found a few meself recently, one author I’d not heard of “John Gideon” amongst them. Hope you enjoy them😎👍🏻
I love Alan Dean Foster. I'm much more familiar with his science fiction especially his "Star Wars: Splinter of the Mind's Eye" and I love Brian Lumley! I prefer the first 5 with Harry Keogh just because he was the first. I did read a few of the ones afterwards but I prefer the first 5 because we're experiencing the horror along with Harry. Great deal on some amazing books!!!
I've read 'The Master' by Guy N. Smith. I bought it for the cover and it's the only "Paperback from Hell" that I have. Also, I know the pain of losing books (as opposed to willingly selling them or giving them away). I lost my copy of 'Mirror' by Graham Masterton.
It would be cool to go book shopping with you Cliff. I have been reading loads of fantasy recently but these are the types of horror I want to read more of.
@@davidsbookreviews4983 Thank you, I appreciate that, but I do know you are going through a tough time and I want you to feel better. Keep the green light shining bright, Pax would appreciate and LOVE it! 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
@@CliffsDarkGems Thanks Cliff! For me, life is always difficult and a struggle. But I'm getting better sort of. I know that Pax would have liked my poem, just wish she was still here.💚
My friend, The Necroscope series has a bunch of books and offshoots..enjoy.
Yeh, I realized I made a mistake there.
I loved SPAWN and am looking to read more Saun Hutson. I want to read SLUGS next. Would love to get my hands on the Vintage Cover.
Thanks for watching! I hope you find the cover.

slugs looks like a fun time! Great haul vid! When my buying ban is over, I want to see if I can find anything fun at the local used bookstore.
Thanks Kritz! Are you doing a "read the books you own" challenge? Slugs looks hilarious! 😄

Thanks Maria! I put my foot in it by saying there were only 4 books in the series 😀 I really had no idea!
All good. ;) I didn't know there were so many either. I stopped picking them up. Going to have to check what my last book was.

Great book haul…I read some of these books, but different covers.
Thank you for watching!
Excellent haul! I just recently read Hobgoblin. I thought it took a little while to get going but once it did it was really good!
