Sims will be necessary, as not only does this time restrict it also energy restricts when your over Energy, Eg: If your lets say 70 energy over (10 runs), you lose out on any energy that could be generated while you sim those first 10 battles, not so bad at 10 mins (1 min per run) it gets worse at higher difficulties
I just saw a vid from youtube recommending this game and i was so excited and wanting to install it badly but sadly while i was searching vids about the game it looks like tons has already quit the game. Is this game dead now ?
Not necessarily as it is still in development and hasn't been officially released yet. My take on the game is that it is essentially a copy of Raid Shadow Legends but with a more interactive story and better graphics
This is frequently debated in the official discord. (Which has an active and very helpful community, worth checking out). The community managers and the devs are very active there, which is a great sign (esp for those of us who have experienced CG's on-again/off-again communication). So this is well understood. There seem to be a subset of players who are vehemently against simming because they see auto-play as 'whale mitigation'. Well, I have news for you, someone willing to spend thousands on a gatcha is not beyond setting up a dedicated PC with a simulator or buying a 2nd tablet. And there are lots of vital resources you can whale on where simming is not even relevant. I totally agree. I am completely enjoying the game. It is extremely well done. The story is decent, there is already a ton of content (PVP modes are a bit limited as are raids)--particularly for a game in beta. In most ways the game is better than a lot of games are a year or more after release. So kudos to them. But they have to find a mechanism to keep it from being a second career or players with real lives will move on because they won't be able to keep up with the time requirements. One alternative to simming is 'offline autoplay'--once you have successfully autoplayed X number of times you could just spend the stamina and you'd not get the rewards until N x 5 minutes later or something like that. This would free up your phone and/or your time for the necessary grind required in a game of this nature while limiting the pace at which someone who just buys a crapton of stamina can turn it into rewards. As it is, I use PC and start an auto-run before bed, before work, etc--and save my time "on-screen" for the interesting elements of the game that are still challenging.
I've heard multiple times from people who are against it that a sim feature would drive the gap further between F2P and Whales but that is just so not the case since there are endless ways to mitigate that. In my opinion, I believe not having the sim feature is worse for the divide since a P2P can just buy the resources to avoid spending time in auto battles.
When i started stringing 2x 30 battles a day, im done until it hets simming and more guild content. Have never stopped playing SWGOH. Love it. 9.2m and 1 relic level from Rey!
I've said it before in other communities, but SWGOH is the only hero collecter other than MSF right now that to me is worth getting into for a new player. I know there's the fact that Capital Games isn't the most trusted developer, but a lot of that blame goes to EA for their notoriously cutthroat business strategies. LOTR died because of EA management, not because of CG. And I think players migrating to SWGOH will experience something much different from what has happeend with HOME. I'm playing my 7m GP account on SWGOH casually and loving it. Only two characters left to get Leviathan done.
I started playing msf for the first time 2 weeks ago now. The new player experience on a new but familiar style of game has been fun. My hope is that game developers in the future can captivate that experience. Having a sim button is pretty much required for these types of games
You must be delusional if you think that SWGOH is worth getting into for a new player. Coming from someone who used to play it for 3 years since it's launch, it's massively pay-to-win where new heroes and gear are introduced very frequently and I know of many new players who quit soon after playing it because they felt overwhelmed quickly. You're better off staying away from this one, no matter how big of a Star Wars fan you are.
Every time I look for the game it says "soon available (that's the status on Steam since at least 9 months)" or "preregister now for PC (on their website)" - will this game officially be released in near or even far future ??
Yup the camera going up and down is so annoying to see. Why not have a stable stuck camera except for special attacks? There's just no good mobile game out there that was like Lotr Home. It was the perfect time spend balance to me with a fun raid( except the rng). But there is nothing like that out there. Only Swgoh is like that but it's just too much going on there aswell and the graphics are still horrible. I tried Age of Magic but it's just not catching me. The raids are boring because it's just doing nodes and not giant big bosses with a shared healthpool vs your clan. I already did Raid but yeah not going back to that anymore either. I just have no clue and hoped this would be it...
I can do tabs on my phone. Not sure what phones you guys are using but I'm playing Raid, Eternal evolution and King Arthur while watching YT all at the same time... Well you can only do this on android so if you guys are using iPhone, you're fcked 😂
There are so many games that use this system and are succesfull , you are the first guy I heard complaining about this lol I don't see an issue here , it's badically 20 mins to burn all your energy
lol 30 mins and you are complaining. Did you know mobile mmorpgs we play afk farm for 24 hours straight on a phone ? Stop complaining, 30 mins is nothing.
Raid Shadow Legends uses the exact same system and that is the no. 1 game in this genre, so doubtful they will change it.
Raid shadow legends is a meme

My excitement went from "Imma install it and play for a couple of hours" to "removed from wishlist".
I just saw a vid from youtube recommending this game and i was so excited and wanting to install it badly but sadly while i was searching vids about the game it looks like tons has already quit the game.

I think I'll be doing that JKL video then if you approve of SWGOH it's enough for me to set my distaste for CG aside

What country was this out in 6 months ago? I still says December for me
@@19shunjay it was early access on Steam which is a PC game launcher
Every time I look for the game it says "soon available (that's the status on Steam since at least 9 months)" or "preregister now for PC (on their website)" - will this game officially be released in near or even far future ??
June is what they were planning. If you want to play it early you can on Steam.

Yup! Don't blame you!
Yup the camera going up and down is so annoying to see. Why not have a stable stuck camera except for special attacks?

I don't regret not playing this anymore. It's a tax on your life when these games become a daily chore
totally agree !
Is this game similar to Chaos Era?
it has some similarity to raid and chaos era, it also has some hero collector, squad RPG similarity too.
Wack
lol 30 mins and you are complaining. Did you know mobile mmorpgs we play afk farm for 24 hours straight on a phone ? Stop complaining, 30 mins is nothing.
