I have been a backslider for years. Never built a relationship, prayed or read my bible. Yesterday i chose to have a honest conversation with God. Not a prayer but just talked to him like i would a friend as if he was here. I made the decision to retirn back and try to make things right with him and in my life. And even as i type this message beer in hand and just listening to the sermon. I know that it will be a long road ,and thet through not my own strength that i will get past my selfishness , drinking , lustfulness, cheating ways , etc only with the help of God. I look forward to renewing my relationshio with God and building it consistently and continuously. Its saturday and im definitely going to church tommorow , the church that my grandmother brought me up in and the church that i got saved in all those years ago. It will he tough and hard, i lost my faith snd confidence. But with God i will trust in him and his word and im sure that i will be what he made me to be in time and live for him, not myself.
I walked away from the faith in 2017. However, I have noticed the prophecies coming true today. So I am trying to come back. It is very hard because I don't feel the same way i did when i was active in the church. So I definitely needed to hear this. It helped. I am glad that he hasn't given me what i deserved.
I appreciate this message 8years later our Lord has just been working on me we need him at all times how those southern gun activist are that's how I am about needing God and holy spirit equipped at all times home, work, commute..anytime we can get tested anywhere.....

I backslided with drugs and I always write blood of Jesus On my stomach before work, the devil told me to erase it but I didn’t cause as soon as I erased it that cross would have turned upside down I’m not denouncing my god just because I’m getting high praise my God

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
