Thank you so much. I learnt a lot. I was worried about my ads for books but just hearing that I am to wait for 72hours was very helpful. I also got more tips on ad setup.
Yes, it takes time and you may find that you'll learn much over the first month or two that will help you get things rolling in month three. Don't give up!
Thanks for sharing so much information. I'm not new to FB ads, but I never took a course. I just read stuff and muddled through. I now have a cleared idea of how it all works. Thanks again!
Hi, I am having a problem understanding this blog in terms that the current FB ad management plan is different now since this blog is 2 years old, especially in the Detailed Targeting section, or have I got that all wrong? Also, FB is talking about some of these fields having been replaced with Ai. Have you an updated blog on all this?
@@blairdenholm4167 I have noticed that too on Amazon Ads as well as Facebook. It is more important than ever to have a great understanding of your target audience so that you are targeting the right people and not wasting money.
A really good explanation but if you don't have the money to invest, I guess that you won't get far. On the positive side, you have made it possible for people like me, a complete beginner to understand what it's all about, step by step. There was a time when I had never even seen a facebook ad relating to books on my feed. Your approach makes it possible for people like me to know what to do when it's their turn to advertise. I've read books on the subject but not understood what they are talking about because they seem to assume some prior knowledge that mere beginners don't have., so basically, well done and thank you.
Thanks for your comments. It seems like a few simple tips on Facebook ads could be a great help. I will consider that as I plan new videos over the next few weeks.
Hi maam? A blessed day. This is really amazing, a huge help, Very informative. By the way is this also effective for selling ebooks? Can you show us strategy on how to run facebook ads for ebooks?
@@SelfPubMadeSimple I do. Which is what is so mind boggling to me. It's an author page. When I go there, I can click on either "Ad Center" or "Promote," but they both bring me to the same page, and it doesn't look like this. It has "Choose Ad Types," then four options: Get Started with Automated Ads, Create New Ad, Boost Post, Boost an Instagram post. When I click "Create New Ad" it does allow me to create an ad, but looks nothing like this and has fewer options (like I can pick the age of my audience, but not a bunch of the other stuff). Any idea what is going on???
@@SelfPubMadeSimple I finally found it. I had to go to "Ad Center," (which I'd done previously--all the highlighted "Promote" and "Create Ad" places don't take you where you want to be; they take you somewhere to promote posts, etc. but not where you can see this dashboard and effectively create an ad). Then you have to find the "Tools" bar and click on the three dots and go to "Visit Ads Manager." I hope this helps someone else who is having trouble.
They shared a lot of tips to help make your Facebook ads more productive, avoid common mistakes and improve performance. Sorry that you didn’t find that beneficial. Perhaps you’re at a higher level than the target audience for this video.
nope 4 minutes in its like listening to a professor on chemical warfare. Cant do it. all over my head. I need to hire someone. way over the realm of my education
It's like anything when you're learning. You don't know everything to begin with. A lot of self publishing and marketing is like this. But, if you have money to throw around, there are certainly lots of services that will do it for you.

Loved the bit about audiences. The hardest part for me!

@@SelfPubMadeSimple I've spent half the day struggling with them for my crime fiction books. The clicks are getting more expensive these days.

It’s all the same but drive to a different link or universal book link.
Thanks for sharing this strategy.

FIRST THING FIRST : Does Facebook account from your video is for personal use or for company?
It is a business account
@@SelfPubMadeSimple thanks.Does what means I must have a company or just another account with real personal details of my name, bank account, etc ?
I feel like the dumbest kid on the block, but this is not what I see when I go to the ads place. How do I get to that campaign manager?
Do you have a Facebook business page?

isn't fb a thing of the past now... insta being #1?
I think there are still plenty of people doing well with Fb ads and people who are primarily focused on Fb.
