- So far I’ve heard this theme 3 times in Daima! When Goku first demonstrates the power pole, when he fights in the demon bar, and in his sparring match against Glorio. So far it seems to be his fight theme, and I called it “Goku Gets Serious” as a reference to when Supreme Kai tells him to do just that!
I made this before I saw the last episode with Goku vs Glorio, so I kept the theme centered around the bar fight. I had my friend play some acid jazz saxophone on it over a break beat, to represent an almost out of control brawl in the back of a dark, worn down jazz bar. Then reprised the melodic part with a bit more of a classic anime pop rock style. I wanted to do my best to make the first half of this track as close to the original as possible, seeing as we don’t have access to it yet.
Hearing this theme again in last weeks episode was such a cool experience for me, seeing as I already remade my own version of it, and the new version I could hear the parts i was trying to figure out more clearly! It was fun and validating to hear that I had interpreted some of the parts correctly even though I had to do it over the SFX and fight noises from the bar fight.

Sadly he's not a kid, it was said that his age is still the same but his physical body has been shrunken down so that hopefully " they would be less powerful" but once goku started getting the hang of his " mini " body he is able to start tapping into his current power

@@SynruneDaima is already better than Super now. The consistency in animation, the pacing, the adventurous vibe. This is going to be one of the best series in Dragon Ball, I can tell. This is Toriyama's last gift to us, after all. I am gonna cherish it. I am completely focused on Daima now, Super can wait.

but i believe daima is what toriyama had in mind with GT, a fun adventure filled with "thousands of jabs and silly jokes" just like the original dragon ball it isnt solely focuses on fighting.

Let's be honest guys, Dragon Ball Daima surprised most of us, it went from being seen as a remake of GT to something that has its own essence, and for only containing 20 episodes, it is very entertaining and develops quite well, I wish it had lasted a little longer, but seeing that they are on the right track, I prefer quality to quantity of episodes, and these last ones are fire.
This is why you don't doubt Toriyama lol

I honestly don’t think he was even weakened by being made mini, his only concern in the show so far about it seemed to be his range being shorter, almost as if he figured he knows his body is going to adjust to being smaller and he will be able to use his full power in no time

They were both kids when they became super Saiyans and Gohan became SSJ2 at 11
Age doesn't seem to dictate that much when it comes to strength in Saiyans
