- POV: You are Gas, having flashbacks of fighting Bardock, while you fight his son that looks almost exactly like him 😟
I had the idea for this theme for quite a while. In Clash Of The Gods/Final Death Match there is a deep piano riff that plays after the horns, and I wanted to make something similar for this theme, but faster and more urgent. Of course, I couldn't make an Ultra Instinct theme without the classic motif, but I also included the melody from the verse of Chōzetsu Dynamic, yet I changed it from Major to Minor and put in my chorus. Finally, I added a little spice of Solid State Scouter as a response to the Chōzetsu Dynamic melody.
I wanted to include Bardock in the art, because in my head I can imagine the first time we actually hear this theme is in the flash back of him fighting Gas. However we don't hear the Ultra Instinct Theme in it, its just goes from the riff right into the chorus. Then, when Goku decides to use Sign instead of Perfected Ultra Instinct, we hear this track start up, as a call back to when Gas fought bardock. We see the flicker of his face over his sons, as Gas fearfully remembers that fateful night.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to point out for anyone who has been experiencing this track as quieter than my usual uploads- when I initially uploaded it, RUclips normalized/compressed the volume for some reason, possibly because it was too loud. This was very frustrating, so I decided to re-upload it a little quieter so it wouldn’t get squished when it was processed on the upload. This seemingly fixed it, making it sound like the same volume as all my other tracks, but It was only later I learned that RUclips has a stable volume function, that was responsible for leveling out the volume across all RUclips videos. So I just want everyone to know just in case you’re wondering what happened with the volume here- if you have the stable volume function on, then you should have no problem and it should be at the same level as everything else.
Why is this particular song unavailable on RUclips premium? If you know it'd be very helpful and thank you in advance.

You ever wonder if Frieza realized Bardock did beat him in the end? It's implied Frieza remembers Bardock standing up to him against all odds, but I like to imagine Frieza, right before Goku beat him realized when Bardock said he was going to change fate, was playing the long game and buying time for Goku to grow up and stop him.
frieza absolutely was not paying attention to anything bardock was saying and we don't even know if bardock canonically said that because in the broly movie we only see the bit of him dying

@@dankerbell Broly movie changes canon bardock, in the literal manga panel of namek arc we see frieza make the comparison and see how bardock looked, implying he was infront of frieza. (The bardock movie came out before namek even ended and toriyama saw bardock and wanted to include his movie version)

@@theultimatetrashman887 hmm but that was just a panel or something, toriyama clearly changed his mind and the only thing we can say for sure he was thinking of back then was z bardock's design which has also changed so we can't say any of it carried over. frieza at least remembered a monkey with enough audacity to stand up to him but whether or not he said something about fate or not and whether or not frieza remembered those words is up to you

Bro, call me the "Gladius Glorper" with how I'm always "Gas"-sing up each new song. I love the use of Chōzetsu Dynamic and Solid State Scouter in this; I'm not gonna pretend like I know anything about music, but it's crazy how much a song can change just by changing it from Major to Minor. Keep up the good work, you actually can't miss with these themes.
It’s a very cool trick- changing a melody from Maj to Min or Min to Maj! It makes it sounding like it’s moving in the same direction, but with a different color to it ☺️ like, if it was yellow before, now it’s blue.
