Three years have passed, but I still can not stop crying when I hear the beginning of the composition. Its instantly makes me cry from the very beginning, when I recall the final scene, when I stay in a dying world, giving my friends escape. And goosebumps every time from 23 second. Delight, grief and a sense of greatness overwhelm every time. This is the most memorable scene in my life, and it would be impossible without this ideal composition, thanks for this music, you are a genius.
I'm not Christian, but I love this music! Powerful stuff! That ending with all the robots waiting for salvation just resonates, regardless of your faith. Just wish it was longer!
Always loved the sound of the robotic chant at the start of the song, is very chilling in a good way. Loved Talos principle, can't wait to play the second game.
I wonder if the freed child programs are supposed to be the ones singing at the beginning or if this theme is just ambient for the out-of-world/universe player. This actually then makes me wonder if the simulation has music left in the game engine by the CroTeam in the 2030s or added by IAN themselves to give the AGI an appreciation for music.
I can definitely say that in the main game, the character actually hears music. This is explained by the fact that in part 2 there are 3 layouts of puzzles from part 1. There's music playing from the speakers. I can't say anything about the DLC finale. I also use a translator. Do not judge strictly.
I heard in the first half of the music: Veni Domine (x2), adoramus crucifixus. Veni Domine (x2), salvatoris hominum. The rest I haven't figured out yet.
Dominus Tecum Virgo Serena Dominus Tecum Virgo Serena Panis Et Pastoris Virginum Et Regina Salvatoris Christi Templum Extitisti (translated to english) The Lord in with you, O serene Virgin The Lord in with you, O serene Virgin (You are) the bread of the shepard, Queen of the virgins You are the temple of Christ the Saviour These are atleast the lyrics of the original virgo serena, I am not sure if this one has the same ones
They say: Dominus tecum, Virgo serena, Lord is with You, serene Virgin Dominus tecum, Virgo serena, Lord is with You, serene Virgin Veni Domine, veni Domine, come, Lord, come, Lord, Adoremus Crucifixus, worsip the Crucifix, Veni Domine, veni Domine, come, Lord, come, Lord Salvatoris hominum mankind's saviour then the choir splits and they just repeat the second part.
The Road to Gehenna turned The Talos Principle from a great, but basic puzzle game into an outright masterpiece.
That robotic chanting of the main menu theme sends chills every time

Thank you very much!
@@DMJ you are greatest composer ever. You are need create music not just for games. For FILMS!!
Thank you for Freedom Too and other masterpieces
Very epic, but way too short.
Within the context of the game, it works perfectly.

"Forgive me."
+Соɾу ℛ. "Remember me."
"Good luck everyone."

I will never forget the first time I heard the heavily synthesized "DOMINUS TECUM, VIRGO SERENA"
epic moment in DLC
Great game, great music.
We need a full version of Virgo Serena in that robot distorted singing. We need it.
@Puppet Part of them is. Only the part when it's distorted. The normal choir sings something different.
If any of this song was the MVP in CS:GO...
" remember me"

Where is the music that plays during the credits?
Dominus Tecum Virgo Serena
Dominus Tecum Virgo Serena
Veni Domine, Veni Domine
Adoramus crucifixum
Veni Domine, Veni Domine
Salvatoris hominum
Question: Where is the soundtrack for the ending credits of the road to gehenna?
Niiice. It starts off like Virgo Serena but then it does its own thing. Anyone got the lyrics for this one? My Latin is... er... sketchy.:)
I hear "salvatoris animus". It would be great if Damjan Mravunac could provide the lyrics in the description.
I heard in the first half of the music: Veni Domine (x2), adoramus crucifixus.
Veni Domine (x2), salvatoris hominum. The rest I haven't figured out yet.

@@kkgobkk1 Thank you!
Y'know, I forgot to ask this. Is there some form of this song that doesn't have the choir and just the music?
