Hi I’m an OBGYN ultrasound tech and I’ve been following your story & been so curious to see what your scans looked like since you said you thought you were having twins & then things changed, so thank you for sharing them with us! I’m sure they’ve already told you this but it looks like your first scan showed a possible subchorionic hemorrhage which is just a bleed that can form in the uterus next to the gestational sac with new pregnancy when the uterus is growing/stretching from baby moving in. Very normal & they usually are just absorbed by the uterus after a little while :) Looks like your subchorionic hemorrhage was about the same size as the gestational sac at the time of your first scan, so makes sense why it looked like 2 sacs, but definitely too early to have called anything definitively! So sorry to hear about your confusion, but so happy to hear about your happy healthy baby :)
