  • Hello and welcome to my latest tutorial.
To make this pendant you will need -
    • 0.8mm wire (20g), 2 x 12" (30cm) 1 x 14" (36cm)
    • 0.315mm weaving wire (28g) 100cm (I wind mine onto a bobbin, but you can cut lengths as you go if you prefer)
    • cabochon, mine is 20mm by 15mm (you can use a different size, just remember to adjust wire length and weave repeats accordingly)
    • bead 3mm
I no longer put links to tools on here.
    The tools I use are:
    • Tronex needle nose pliers
    • Tronex short round nose pliers
    • Tronex razor flush cutters
    • Beadsmith flat nose nylon jaw pliers
    • Occasionally I use tronex bent nose pliers
    • Occasionally I use heavy-duty wire cutters
    • Occasionally I use xuron needle nose pliers
    • Bobeeze bobbins (medium size with no extra weights)

I never thinked you talk too much because you're explaining what you're doing. You are a fabulous teacher. So when you are guiding us, I hope you never feel like you're talking too much or that your videos are too long. If people don't appreciate that, they can always fast forward. Thank you for your insightful tutorials. I've learned so much from you and appreciate you very much!🤗

Just a thought. With the longer wire, create your 3 spirals on that wire first then add to your base wires and then Weave it.

I usually start out with one of your tutorials and then do my own thing to the places I don't care for. Some times I mix Imbala crafts and yours together for a totally different look 😊.

So beautiful 😊and contemporary, which is my taste, really. You're not talking too much, Kelly! The more instructions the better during a tutorial, and you instruct to perfection! 💜
I don't know about anybody else, but boy, it took me an hour to wrangle the wires together to continue weaving after creating the bottom loops.🤦 I don't know if it's my big fingers or I'm doing something wrong. 😂 The wire with the loops did not want to stay in line at all, and all the wires bent all over the place right near the loops as I struggled with them. I spent so much time reining in and straightening and straightening and reining in again. It was a vicious cycle for me. 😂😂 Also, bending the bottom first and then weaving from the inside was a disaster for me too.🤦 Is it possible to do the entire weave, including adding the loops, before bending the "V" using round wire? Or bend the loops down as the straight sides of that wire bend in to the "V" with the rest of the wires?
I just love this design, and the bottom loops compliment the top loops, so I don't want to leave them out.🤷
I would like to use this design again when I wind up with a smaller teardrop stone, so do you have any (better) suggestions?
Again, you teach so perfectly, and I have learned so much from you, Kelly! Thank you for sharing your wonderful designs! With all the work and time it takes to put together these tutorials for RUclips and your shop, I'm wondering do you ever sleep?! 😅💜💜

Haha, thank you so much, and yes! Do the bottom loops first then work the sides separately. Do whatever you think will work, it's exciting to, there are so many options and ways you could work it. Try playing with a bit of wire for practice, shape a few curls and just work the wires here and there. I fiddled about with this one for ages 😅 Thanks so much for your lovely comment, I really appreciate it 💕😊
