Usually it’s the mother who has separation anxiety when the child first starts school. The fact that he’s sad shows what a great father he is. She’s a lucky little girl to have her father.
She really did great, many kids just always cry when they get dropped of at daycare and she really understood just after a few days. Crying is normal too but I think these nurseries are so much better than what we have here. In korea and what I've seen in Japan there are far less kids in a group and they can all get more attention from a trusted teacher. The food is great too. I found that kids are sensitive to their peers so while they might be fussy at home about food when they see other kids eat they eat it too so they eat quite well in daycare. I'm sure it helps her a lot that she understands so much of what is being said, if she was younger it would have been harder to sooth her with words. Great that it's so close to the house too, it must feel more familiar to her that way too.

Roa has adjusted to kindergarten school beautifully and so has mum and dad😂 From the video, Roa looks like she is interacting with the other children brilliantly. Once children get into the schools routine they soon settle. In a few months even weeks you will see a grown up little girl, her language skills will happen sooner than you think. Joon and Linda enjoy your peaceful couple of hours. I am a mum of two boys now in their late 50s and I remember it like last week. Love and blessings xxx
I am so proud of Roa! She seems to be adjusting well to nursery school. I taught preschool here in the United States for over twenty years and I am so impressed with her nursery school. The extra classes , the attention to detail and the caring teaching staff are wonderful. That app is so amazing! I LOVE that! I wish we had that when I was a teacher. Great job Roa! 🥰🥰🥰❤️
I have seen many, many international couples. Among all the wives, girlfriends and partners, I like Linda the best. She is beautiful, unpretentious and incredibly down to earth. May God bless this beautiful family!
I am glad that you decided to finally send Roa to nursery/daycare. I am sure it is hard for Linda (and Roa too, of course), but I think it is for the best. Delaying it will only make it even harder. Roa will learn more at school. There is really only so much that parents can do because one cannot replace the socialization skills kids learn in school nor provide all the interesting activities which schools provide. It should free up LInda's time too. Maybe she can help with the video editing?
우리 아이들 처음 어린이집 보낼때 생각이 나네요 셋을 키웠지만 제각기 다 다르더군요 로아 이 정도면 적응 잘 하는것 같아요 저희 큰 아이는 한 달은 울었어요 두번째 가는 날은 어린이집 가는 길도 안건너려 하는걸 제가 일을 해서 억지로 보냈던 기억..그땐 넘 가슴아팠지만 성품도 바르고 공부도 잘해서 본인이 원하는 직업 가지고 잘 살고 있어요 낯을 좀 더 가리는 아이가 있는가하면 조금 산만한 아이도 있고 말이 많은 아이도 있고.. 아이들마다 다 다르지만 부모로서 그 개성을 존중하고 사랑으로 키우는게 쉽지않죠 자식을 키워야 비로서 인내를 배우고 어른이 되나봐요 우리 로아 성장기를 보면서 힐링도 되고 추억에 젖어보네요

I wouldn't worry too much about her not talking. She understands 2 languages and this is the 21st century, so there are communication devices and sign language to cover any speech issues. All will be well.
Ahh this brings back memories of walking away while listening to them cry but it does them so good mixing with other children and yes you're right on the fact they pick up the bugs when they start school 😂

The teacher is incredible! I remember my 1st going to Kindergarten the 1st time. I i was a mess. Cried in my car after taking him inside. He was fine, I wasn't 😂. But our youngest son was very much like Roa. Attached to mom & dad more than the older 2 boys. He just got to spend more time cuz he was my 1st I stayed home with where we both didn't work. So it was extra hard to leave our baby boy just for a couple of hours every day. It gets easier as parents but we too need hugs or back rubs just like that sweet teacher did for Roa 😊🩷

Don't worry about her speech yet. In a multilingual household it is very common for kids to speak a little later as they are absorbing so much more. My son is 9 and speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic but didn't start speaking in full sentences until he was 3.

É perceptível a angústia de vocês por ela ainda não falar... a ansiedade de vocês em nada ajuda... já pararam pra pensar que ela é coreana, vai ficar na Coréia e o ideal seria ensinar só o idioma coreano pra ela e quando ela estiver maior, ela aprender o alemão por escolha??? São dois idiomas extremamente difíceis e extremamente diferentes... aprender português e espanhol, português e inglês, fica mais fácil...o alfabeto é o mesmo, a escrita fica mais fácil... vocês deveriam ter mais paciência e viver uma situação de cada vez... a escrita coreana é muito difícil, falar é confuso... não dificulta tanto pra ela...como disse: são dois idiomas difíceis e opostos...
I worked as an Au-pair and was raising a one year old child to speak both English and German. In that time I learned that bilingual or multilingual children will often start to actively speak a little later than children who grow up speaking only one language. I overheard Linda saying she’s worried about Roa not speaking but don’t worry too much as it is not unusual at all. My best friend is Peruvian and speaks Quechua. Peru is a pretty country, many varieties of potatoes and corn.

Roa ist so tapfer während der Eingewöhnung in den Kindergarten. Einfach nur zuckersüß und ich denke, dass das Spielen mit den anderen Kindern ihr gefallen wird.
Bei mir wurde nicht so rum gemacht. Am 1. Tag abgegeben worden und gut war. Wird halt erst mal geheule sein. Habe es auch überlebt.

Don't worry about her speech yet. In a multilingual household it is very common for kids to speak a little later as they are absorbing so much more. My son is 9 and speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic but didn't start speaking in full sentences until he was 3.
Пять детей на одного воспитателя - практически индивидуальные занятия! Все грамотно продумано для комфортной адаптации ребенка! Сколько любви и заботы со стороны мамы с папой и конечно воспитателей. Супер! Думаю, Роа уже адаптировалась к детскому саду!) 😍🥰👍

É perceptível a angústia de vocês por ela ainda não falar... a ansiedade de vocês em nada ajuda... já pararam pra pensar que ela é coreana, vai ficar na Coréia e o ideal seria ensinar só o idioma coreano pra ela e quando ela estiver maior, ela aprender o alemão por escolha??? São dois idiomas extremamente difíceis e extremamente diferentes... aprender português e espanhol, português e inglês, fica mais fácil...o alfabeto é o mesmo, a escrita fica mais fácil... vocês deveriam ter mais paciência e viver uma situação de cada vez... a escrita coreana é muito difícil, falar é confuso... não dificulta tanto pra ela...como disse: são dois idiomas difíceis e opostos...
I worked as an Au-pair and was raising a one year old child to speak both English and German. In that time I learned that bilingual or multilingual children will often start to actively speak a little later than children who grow up speaking only one language. I overheard Linda saying she’s worried about Roa not speaking but don’t worry too much as it is not unusual at all.
