PLEASE READ ⬇⬇ Hey everyone, I wanted to correct a mistake in the video. At 8:25 it should be 14 dc instead of 15. my apologies! IF YOUR WORK KEEPS GETTING BIGGER: When you chain 2 for each row, don't start crocheting from the stitch right next to your chain. Instead, start half-double crocheting in the 2nd stitch from your chain 2. This should help avoid adding an extra stitch to each of your rows. IF YOUR MAIN BODY KEEPS SHRINKING: 1. Make sure you chain 2 after every row 2. Be careful not to skip any stitch along your work, as it is often easy to accidentally look over them. IF YOUR RIBBING KEEPS SHRINKING 1. Make sure to chain one at the end of every row! 2. After your chain 1 for each new row, start single crocheting in the stitch directly next to your hook 3. If you are a beginner, keep track of how many stitches you have until you get the hang of it. After the first row, each row should consist of 11 stitches!
Hi tysm for this tutorial but I still don’t know how to not make the hand warmer wider, and I don’t really understand when u said that consider each new row as a stitch. So can u pls explain it again in a different way since English isn’t my first language thank you! ❤🧶
I have a question, for the ribbing, do I single crochet in the second stitch from the hook just for the first stitch or do I continue that pattern through the entire thing?
Announcement to everyone 🗣️🗣️🗣️ make sure you put it on your hand from time to time while making it to check if it’s too tight or loose, make it to your fitting! Not the video creator’s fitting!!
no because thank u so much for specifying that u need to do the BACK loop and not the front one, i've seen a lot of tutorials and u were literally the only one who could taught me how to do single crochet
For the people whose projects are getting too large as you go on, I recommend crocheting 30 rows instead of 33 while making the ribbing at the the bottom and doing the rest as shown! This completely fixed the problem for me :] excellent tutorial thank you for this!
They turned out so cute! It was also very customizable, which is great since I have very small but long hands so these types of things don’t always fit me.
