ACER ASPIRE VERO LOOK INSIDE SAMSUNG SSD UPGRADE

I have a brand new Acer Aspire VERO 15.6" Core i7 Laptop I will open up to upgrade the SSD with a NEW Samsung SSD 980 NVMe M.2 drive.

When you clone a windows to another HDD/SSD, is that windows copied or moved to the new hard drive? Does it remain on the old hard drive?

Yes. The original hdd remains the same. The cloning process makes an exact duplicate of old drive.
