Well the early birds get....the early bird!! lol Fantastic views of the sky, the vast array of mesmerising lights..even their control tower was aglow in a pretty purple color (looked to me anyway)
Late watching - fun ride and seeing the lights, bridges, TPA, and sunrise. Delta sure loves to feed their customers. I felt like I was on that flight. I’m sure all of those Boeing tails have been to TPA 😂.
Great video! Had me thinking of the many trips between Atlanta and Tampa on my favorite airline, Delta. I've made that trip over the decades on the following DAL equipment: 1. DC-8-61 2. B-767-200 3. DC-8-71 4. L-1011 5. B-757-200 6. MS-82 7. B-767-300 8. B-767-400 As you can see, and to use an old ad slogan of theirs - Delta is My Airline! That's not even including other Delta equipment, including the DC-8-50, DC-9, B-727-200, MD-88 , B-737-200, and B-757-300!
Nice preview to my trip to ATL in 2 weeks. I'll be on the rocket ship in first class, but in the afternoon. I'll be attending an event at the Delta museum and taking in the 737 simulator. Cheers Steve!
Flew out of E62 last year from TPA to ATL too. Just wish Delta would once again fly nonstop from Miami and Tampa to Chicago like they used to do during the 70's. Now, changing planes in Atlanta can be a royal pain at times.
