Cant believe they are opening 18 thru Lucerne to non residents? They don't need curious looky Lous up there clogging the roads when the space is limited. Also the threat of avalanches, rock and mud slides. Hello?

Praying for everyone up there, my friends and everyone. Stay safe and know that many of us are thinking of you, even if we can't get up the mountain to help.

How about bringing a shovel and help us dig out? Prayer is not going to get our vehicles out or shovel snow off the roof. Does your heart “go out” for us?

Well if y’all evacuated weeks ago like we kept saying none of you would be experiencing this. And let’s be honest it’s the tiny little mountain range you got in LA area not like the Sierras up here in NorCal and they manage to do just fine.

They manage just fine in the Sierras because they're already equipped and have the infrastructure to deal with the massive quantities of snow they regularly receive. All of the communities that were impacted was a mile high above sea level or less, and thus they rarely get this kind of snow, so they're not as well equipped. Big Bear just up the hill at 7,000 feet is well equipped and they're doing just fine.
