Roxy I’m glad you posted this video I use affirm and I love it. As far as going to the salon I’ve learned with a pixie cut short hair you can help but overlap so,I protect my already permed hair with oils and Vaseline the salon girl are going to over lap it as well but they NOT going to take care of it like we do at home plus the salons here where I live are VERY DISRESPECTFUL OF YOUR TIME so,I learned to do my own hair I only go in salon for cuts only. And as usual you are always beautiful girl.😊❤
The Protecto cream is for the already processed hair. You applied it to the new growth, maybe that's why the relaxer didn't get as straight you wanted. ❤
@@NetteNetteWRIGHTthe protector is to protect the previously relaxed hair only. Not meant to be on the scalp. I would say it’s a must unless you feel confident you’re not going to overlap
Hi. Ive been using affirm relaxers for years. Ive bever used the tub ones. i bought the singles in the box. With the singles u ca chose to mix it mild, regular or strong and one container does your hair, so it wont be wasted. Also, I have relaxed my hair at home by myself 2 times and i realize the hair wasnt bone straight as when its done at the salon. (Not sure y and its the same products used). One thjng i can tell u, affirm burns no matter the strenght but it last even 2 months thats y i stick to it. U shud buy the Kercare care line to do you regualar shampoos. Keracare hydratjng shampoo and the Humecto conditioner and the foam r soooo good.
Ohhhh thanks for this information. I was also thinking to get the kera care line for my in between hair care so that’s confirmed. I guess when I’m done the tub, I’ll try the singles I didn’t know you could mix different strengths
Yeah, the one you mix is no lye so you’d have to throw it out if you have any left over. I’m also in Canada (Toronto)and just ordered from Imani 😊. The price there is better than any place here in Canada. YEG beauty in Edmonton has the relaxer for CAD 50 but the other products are more expensive than on Imani’s site. They have a $100 spend for free shipping next time you need just the relaxer or you could just pick it up if you live close to Edmonton. Ensley beauty in USA also has prices similar to Imani, but last time I checked they didn’t ship to Canada, that may have changed.
Hi Roxie I tried to get your hair cut but it didn't turn out right after I left my stylist, could not see the results,so am gonna try it again, love yah haircut.😊
Roxie are you a licensed stylist, because you start off good with your material and clippers .I really love your style am gonna try this cut again I have thin hay on top but I can cameo flash it with a cover top weave hair piece.❤its manageable for me this cut.
Those kind of relaxers are great for the hair but very harsh on the scalp. Those relaxers you HAVE to base your entire scalp to prevent burns. The sensitive scalp one you can get away with not burning.

Can't wait to get mine soon and thanks for the tutorial, love the result 😊
Love this Roxy, how often do you relax your hair
Hello when you apply the protecto don’t apply it to your scalp just your hair. I’ve been using Affirm products for 20 years Licensed 30 years.
And it's not a must. She can just apply the relaxer ..even with the protector ur scalp.tingles 😊
I just realized that 🤦🏾 thank you
Ok so it'll almost be 3 mos that I haven't had a perm so I brought affirm sensitive scalp. Do I need the protector

Hi, how often do you co-wash your hair?

Girl I’m learning this as I go 😅😅
The positive link should have been step two
❤❤
Smooth the relaxer through with the back of the comb NOT the teeth 😮
You forgot the links 😢

You should have put it on the hair not root so much.
