Damn they are so nice! Hope Asics will make them worldwide available

Totally agree with you, it is a great shoe. I think that the Superblast is even better, so thankfully that is widely available (or was, up to recently - as global stocks of that shoe is hard to come by at the moment).

I bought a pair when I was over for the Tokyo marathon at the start of the month (raced in my old Novablast 1s though - so comfy and quick!). Really enjoying the S4s but have another marathon coming up and have bought the metaspeed sky Paris - feeling like the S4s may be a bit harsh after a 23km training run. Have you tried any longer runs yet?

@@rowwdy09 No, I've not yet run over 11k in them. Really interested in your views, thanks for sharing. It is on my list of things to try.

Magic Speed 4 will be virtually identical to these I reckon.

@@Fozzee.1970 I think that you are onto something there with that thought.

Would you race it? Getting mine soon. I have the magic speed3, and i love it. I use it for parkrun and session. I have over 750km and it is still good. Hope the s4 is a higher stack version of the MS3

I've raced parkrun in it. Great for that, but would look to something else for a top race for me.

@theinconsequentialrunner just did some sessions in it, and I agree with your point. For b races, I would use it, but definitely for pb or A races, i prefer other shoe. For me, it feels slower than the Magic speed 3in anything less than 10k. It but definitely can handle HM distance.

What stack height are they? They might not be world athletics legal for track races. The limit is 20mm or 25mm depending on the distance as far as I remember. I agree, I wish ASICS sold these in US.

They are over 20mm, but unless you're elite, no need to worry. Ok for masters too. I use them for training.

@@theinconsequentialrunner Thanks for the clarification. I guess, it depends on who is running the show (race) and how they enforce the rules. Tim Grose (on You Tube) in UK does track races and he is a masters runner and I think they do enforce there.
I don't do track races here in the US but do my speed work at track and so these could work for me but I usually use Adidas Takumi Sen 8. It is an excellent shoe as well. A few days ago, someone broke mile record in TS10.
