Even though Momoni's joints are bulky and "odd" looking, her movements are far more fluid and natural. I also like her proportions as compared to the others, despite her hips being SO wide.

I'm ridiculously happy that there's a pear shaped doll. I have that body type, so it's very refreshing to see more body type variations. I'm looking forward to her face up, I love her smile :)

Momoni is definitely really cute, the only thing that bothered me was that her butt and hips were very big, yet her waist and thighs were very small... It may just have been the style that the artist was going for, I just thought it didn't look quite right ?
Zoey Girl I'm fine with the big hips and small waist and torso. what bothers me is how the waist comes from very small and then suddenly very big without a smooth curve. she looks more like a spoon to be honest. but what realy bothers me is how the legs are too skinny for the big hips

Momoni is definitely the superior poser! But her aesthetic isn't for me. And for her price, I much rather purchase an actual SD, like a Feeple60. Either way, I'll definitely look forward to Momoni in your videos! Have you decided a name for her? 💕
I love the aesthetic of the joints! I'm personally a fan of the unnatural-looking joints as opposed to the less flexible but more natural looking joints. I think it makes her look a bit like a robot or android.
I like how you express you honest opinion about how unique the doll's body look, it's more realistic, even though the joints look awkard, it gives you a more natural position then most dolls. it is pretty awesome
All these dolls has the same bodytype, i'm wondering if there exist more chubby dolls, or even with a muscular type (in female i mean)
There is a ton of variety depending on what you personally like :)
Nicolle's Dreams I'm searching but the most of the shops only sell the thin generical type, do you know any shop (on-line shop) that sell diferent bodytypes? I kinda love to have a chubby bjd, to dress like a XVIII century royalty >w
Sorry I can't help you since I only follow a handfull of BJD companies among hundreds. It also depends what kind of chubbyyou are searching for, because the curvier it is, the more difficult it is to design a shape and joint system that will work. I remember reading full discussions about the technical difficulties of such design. I think the best way is for you to join sites like Den of Angels or some BJD Faceup group where your question can be seen by a ton of people.

Dat butt! XD I couldn't help but laugh at the final turnaround, with the huge difference between them. That body looks like it would be so good for pose reference for drawing! And the face seems really sweet and natural, I can't wait to see what you end up doing with it :3 do you know of any other particularly good, wide-range posing dolls?
hahaha xD Yeah I agree with you, she is an amazing drawing subject :) Honestly I am not very up to date with body designs from other companies but I really like Popovy Sisters dolls, I heard they are excellent posers as well :)

I love the posability of the Momoni doll, but I have to say I prefer the more natural body shape of Minifees. Still, such an adorable doll! And aesthetically I think BJD's with more odd shapes are pretty charming.

Momoni's body shape kind of remind me of a Monster High doll, with the way her back dips in and stomach sticks out a bit. Except with bigger hips. Much bigger.

What an interesting doll! Her figure may not be to everyone's taste but it's kind of refreshing seeing a body type that's different from the norm in BJD's. Also, off topic observation, I really appreciate your use of bokeh lighting in the background of your vid, it adds a kind of sparkly fantasy vibe to it :)

I absolutely adore your channel, may I ask where you buy most of your gorgeous doll clothing and at what price eg. Expensive or cheapish (I know that doll clothes are always going to be expensive because they are so beautifully made.
I absolutely adore Momoni. Her breasts are natural, and her weird aesthetics could be easily covered up with pants and sweaters. Her poses are natural, and her face is warm and cute.Some people complain about the big butt, but personally, I like dolls with many bodyshapes. Momoni can look a little silly, but I love her design! Amazing doll.

I have a question for fairyland dolls I'm new to bjd dolls I was wondering when you order a doll do they come painted? Like eyebrows blush etc
It depends on the package (it is usually outlined in the description of each doll product). But if the doll does not come with a faceup you can pay extra and the company will do it for you.
My favorite style for dolls is school uniform and miko/kimono

You can find them at ateliermomoni.com 2) I'm not sure about clothes, but I'm sure with measurements you can find something. 3) yes, there is an option for face up on the website when you buy them, She bought her momoni blank to do a face up herself. ^_^
