This episode hit really hard for me. It reminds me of when I was dealing with a lot of traumatic stuff as a kid... and when I see Lunar dodging questions and changing the subject, I also see myself, as that's exactly what I did. It makes me tear up to see anyone going through trauma... but for it to remind me of myself, it just hits different. It makes me wish I could give Lunar a weighted blanket and a hot cocoa so bad. 🥺
I'm glad he's finally opening up though. I know things got so much better for me when I opened up and faced my trauma. I can't wait to watch Lunar heal from his. He deserves to be happy. 🥹

@@starling1226 The situation is long in the past now. I still struggle with some anxiety and occasionally ptsd nightmares, but otherwise I'm doing quite well! Tbh tho, I'd go through it all 100 more times if it meant no one else had to. It hurts me so much to see others go through mental and emotional pain.
At the same time though, I'm glad they're willing to incorporate such topics in the show, as it genuinely helps so many people... and has even helped me realize a lot about my past and present self! Such as how truly unhealthy my coping was as a kid... my need to come to terms with things that are done and over with... my need to face my fears... etc. Somehow, this show has helped me more in the past 6 months than the years of therapy I've been going to!
Then again, it's also caused more tears in the past 6 months than my lifetime of trauma... 😅 The writers are truly too good at their job bro.

I deal with anxiety everyday and I have very bad trama due to my past and my 2 relationships I was in and it all left me into having trama to were I sometimes don't like sharing it with others only people I trust because it hurts and the other half is embarrassing I wish I have never gotten myself into those situations but I can't change it 😔 Thanks to half of my trama I don't like anything to do with romance or love anymore and have a extreme fear of being online for 24 hours I feel like imma mess up again and put myself in danger I don't wanna put myself in that same position like I did multiple times in my past *sigh* I hate mentioning this but I go threw depression (possibly don't know) anxiety and trama daily I know I can do better and make a better future thanks to my ex's I'm probably never gonna have a relationship ever again I learned from that and never wanna take that risk or path again I never expect anything....

I am so Glad that Lunar talked about his trauma, at long last, I feel like Earth will really be helpful and a great Big Sister to him! It's nice hearing how this show will essentially help him recover and cope, hearing Lunar eventually talk about his issues after having trying to distract himself from the topic really hurt me in the heart. The poor baby boy really was trying so hard to run from his problems..
I'm glad Earth talked to him though now, and I'm really glad they are making a show together! I'm so SO excited for this! I can imagine a lot of cute, fun and wholesome things will happen on this show! ^^
I have to admit, I haven't been the biggest fan of Earth lately, but this episode really made me smile! I especially appreciated the end where she offered cake since she didn't have comic books, and it was sweet of her to chant about sugar with Lunar. I'm really glad she seems to be okay with taking on the role of therapist for him, especially since Moon asked her to be so right after she vented about not wanting to be pigeonholed into the role of a therapist. 💀
I really hope Lunar can feel better, and soon. For his own sake above all else, and I hope the new channel is a nice distraction for him.

@@CharlieWey-Thomas I personally think her treatment towards her brothers has been less than kind regarding when she confronted them about the child killing in the past- she accused them of hiding things from her when they hadn't, willingly overlooked Sun's obvious anxiety over recollecting July 16th, and then in her confrontation with Monty she called Moon's explanation as to *why* they didn't tell her all about that an "excuse." I understand her concerns with her self image but she's not entitled to peoples' life stories regardless of how close they are.
I get that, but how is anyone in this universe supposed to know how to act? Develop?@@Inky_Kuro
Oh man this makes my heart so so happy to see these two getting along. Earth's kind words and Lunar accepting help made me tear up, I can't wait to see what they get up to. (Also Meg's art in the thumbnail is GORGEOUS, I hope they commission her to do more stuff!)

Edit: You know, I was looking at the channel name. When Eclipse took over the channel for October, the channel was called "Eclipse and Lunar show". That represents how much Eclipse cares for lunar. Like Eclipse's needs were first. But with this channel, the channel is called "Lunar and Earth show". This time it represents how much Earth cares about people's needs. Earth put Lunar's feelings first unlike Eclipse. Just something I found while looking.

I've always loved lunar and related to him. (abusive family member, haunted by that family member, looked over, seen as just stupid, made to feel like they had to be happy all the time) And now with lunar talking about running away so the bad thoughts can't get him.... I relate even more.

From personal experience as “the therapist friend” I’ve always listened, helped, and comforted others.
But- almost having no one to do the same for me…
Constantly hearing/helping other’s problems can be pressuring as you feel they rely on you, And you continue to carry it all on your shoulders. Cause “you can’t let them down.”

I'm glad to finally see Lunar in his own show, including Earth
I can tell you that this episode kinda affected me a bit- I mean, I don't run away from my problems! In fact I try to help my friends with their problems too! I tend to help with a lot of their problems, but sometimes I get overwhelmed with everyone's problems- Also I feel like when I solve theirs, my problems get berried deeper down and eventually it can't be solved. I mean, don't get me wrong! When I'm not busy and theres a new problem, I tell them strait away! Its just that I feel like I'm alone in some situations. Also the fact that I don't like to talk about my feelings that much, has a big effect on this situation. Mostly because I don't have someone I can instantly turn to. So thank you for this talk! I kinda needed it. ☺
